Why Is This Allowed In Islam

Is red wine allowed in Islam........?

"O ye who believe! Strong drinks and games of chance and idols and divining of arrows are only an infamy of Satan's handiwork. Leave them aside in order that ye may succeed. Satan seeketh only to cast among you enmity and hatred by means of strong drinks and games of chance, and turn you from remembrance of Allah and from His worship. So will ye not then abstain?" (5:90-91)

Abdullah bin Umar related that the Prophet(pbuh) said: "Do not sit together with drinkers, nor visit them when they are sick. Do not even attend their funerals. The drinkers of alcohol shall come on the Last Day with black faces, their tongues leaning on one side and sliva coming out of their mouths. Anyone who sees their filthy appearance will know that they were the drinkers of alcohol."

Jabir reported the Messenger of Allah as saying "If a large amount of anything causes intoxication, a small amount of it is also prohibited."

Yea there maybe some good in it but look at the bigger picture. It is stated in the Qur’ân: “They ask you regarding wine and gambling. Say, in both of them is major sin, and there is some benefit for men, but the sin of them is far greater than benefit ” (Surah Baqarah)

Why meat is allowed in Islam?

“The First thing is Allah The Exalted can not be asked how he made some things halal and how he made some things haram”. This is not my saying but a teaching of Family of Muhammad (sawaw).I don’t know why He swt made some animals carnivores that they eat meat only.I can’t say why He swt made some animals herbivores that they eat plants only.I can’t say why He swt made some animals omnivores that they eat both. Not all animal’s meat is allowed to eat. Only some animals are lawful to eat. It is unlawful to eat animals with canine teeth.Besides meat is good for human and scientifically early humans eat meat only and humans are omnivores. If you are concerned with violence then you must know violence is not evil. Everything is govern with law of Creator. If you are transgressing that law of Creator then it is evil.A Lion is not evil if it kills a deer.Neither a deer is evil if it kills a plant [ plants are living beings , Right ?]you can’t stop violence, even if you clear a patch of land for farming and irrigation. you have committed violence by cutting trees, destroying the lives of birds, insects that lives on that trees. Then you use pesticides to kill insects and rodents- rats.Is not that violence ? But it is not evil.Hope is the answer of the Question.

Is tattooing allowed in Islam?

If we are to prohibit anything besides what God has given us, we would be setting up other sources besides God's scripture and therefore fall into the category of idol worship.Traditionalists prohibit many things including growing out your nails, wearing wigs, tattoos, piercing, etc. Many people would start asking why are they really prohibited. However, I do not find anything in God's infallible scripture that prohibits such things. However, God does tell us to maintain our modesty:You Shall Dress Modestly[Quran 24:60] The elderly women who do not expect to get married commit nothing wrong by relaxing their dress code, provided they do not reveal too much of their bodies. To maintain modesty is better for them. God is Hearer, Knower.God also tells us to subdue our eyes, having flamboyant tattoos and piercing may provide lots of eyes to be focused on the individual:Dress Code for Believers[Quran 24:30] Tell the believing men that they shall subdue their eyes (and not stare at the women), and maintain their chastity. This is purer for them. God is fully Cognizant of everything they do.God also doesn't like show-offs or people that are just obnoxiously loud:[Quran 8:47] Do not be like those who left their homes grudgingly, only to show off, and in fact discouraged others from following the path of God. God is fully aware of everything they do.Most of all, God tells us not to expose yourself too much. In my opinion, this doesn't only refer to the dress code, but also to walk humbly (don't stick yourself out purposely from a crowd) and not to be obnoxious (which is another sense of having yourself sticking out of a crowd)[Quran 31:18] "You shall not treat the people with arrogance, nor shall you roam the earth proudly. God does not like the arrogant showoffs.[Quran 31:19] "Walk humbly and lower your voice - the ugliest voice is the donkey's voice."Again, none of these verses actually tell us that piercing or tattoos are prohibited. However, these verses teach us some basic social guidelines. We need not have ourselves sticking out of a crowd (in a sense to showoff or to expose yourself more) We need to be modest, and try our very best not to show off ourselves.Overall, piercing/tattoos are not prohibited in the Quran. However, we need to decide for ourselves what would be socially acceptable/appropriate and what wouldn't in the light of the context of the whole Quran.

What is Munajat? And is it allowed in islam?

A friend of mine was telling me that munajat after prayer or during the hajj is not allowed in islam because there is no reference for Munajat in the holy Quran and Hadith. That is why we should not do it.
We were arguing about the so called Shab e Barat. I was telling him that since there is no reference for this in the holy books, celebrating Shab e Barat would be an act of misguidance. He said then munajat should also be the same, because it also does not have anything to back itself up.

Can someone explain what munajat is and why we do it in spite of no references in the holy books?

Thank you

Is meditation allowed in Islam?

well our prophet used to go and think deeply in the cave at hira. its where he received his revelation.

a muslim is asked in the quran to contemplate about the universe,as to better understand allah.

but the yogi floating about de air typa meditation i dont think so. what the hell do people do when they meditate? trying ta acheive peice? why do they sit cross legged? its not comfortable, why dont they just lie down? wouldn't that be more comfy? why do the people who wanna meditate dont just go take a nap or sommat? sitting there trying to achieve something as futile as "inner peace" is just such a big futile waste of time. why no think deeply about something and try to figure something out?
