If so, what kind? Please provide examples. Were they open racism or somewhat subtle? What is your background? Caucasian, Black, Hispanic, Asian, or mixed? And who was the racist? Is diversity good for America?

Your first sentence is completely inaccurate. "Prejudice and racial stereotyping are two of this country's greatest problems today." Did you miss the most obvious event disproving that statement since the creation of our nation? For the first time since the creation of the United States, we have a duly elected black president. The statement you made is completely false. Our progress in racial issues can not be denied and should be applauded. If you want to talk about history and move through the events that have taken place over the years to correct it, then you would have an interesting, accurate presentation. If you want to act like we are still in that same place, you would get an F from me. Why do young people always emphasize the negative about their country while your country is the most self correcting nation in the world. That is what is so great about it.

"What's intersectionality and why is it such a hot topic in feminist circles?" Intersectionality was "invented" during a time when feminism was losing support from women outside of the movement's very tight clique. It was the quick, made up solution by upper class, white feminists to answer the charges by minority women that they were being excluded. Feminism began, and still is largely a privileged, white woman movement. They call the shots, and they dictate what feminism does. The idea of intersectionality was to introduce other types of "oppression" that women who are not white and upper class might face, into the feminist paradigm. The biggest one was race. Sometimes, but not always, they entertain the idea of class. The reason this is such a hot topic in feminist circles is that this is the only potential opportunity for the growth of feminism, or rather a area where they can restrict the dwindling numbers of women who are willing to call themselves feminist any longer. They never, ever, introduce legitimately oppressed or disadvantaged males. EVER. This is the proof that feminism is NOT a movement for full equality as too many self-proclaimed adherents claim. It is a special interest group for women only. All men, no matter what their circumstances are, are simply deemed to be "privileged".
Why are people so racist these days?
I am a 13 year old girl. Just because someones skin color is diffrent and accent is diffrent doesn't mean that you should judge them. I'm black and I'm proud, so why do you have to judge others on the color of our skin? Jesus would never judge anyone on the color of their skin. Niether would God.
Why wasn't an amber alert issued for Diamond and Tionda Bradley?Why are missing black children ignored?
This angers me and several blacks.The amber alert came out in 1998.Diamond and Tionda went missing from Chicago in 2001.They were children.The amber alert system is supposed to be for missing children.Why wasn't an amber alert issued? I have read of several black teens and black children who go missing and there is no amber alert out for them.So its ok for us black folks to have our children abducted?! Its like the media is sending the message F*** you black people and f*** your kids. The media is so quick to recover white missing children, but when it comes to missing black children its like they say "we're better off." Its like they say its ok for black people to be without their children.Its angering the black community.There is talk that a photo of Tionda appeared on Myspace and there was talk about seeing her in Indianpolis about 3 years back but I haven't read about anyone making moves.If she and her sister were white they would have quickly recovered them.Why are black kids
