Why Isnt There Any Bmw In Some Nfs Series

Why doesn't the U.S. have freeways with no general speed limit, like the German Autobahn?

In more or less decreasing order of importance, why America cannot handle high-speed autobahn-type freeways:Car control. It's too easy to get a driver's license in America, i.e., formal car control courses are not required, but it is a necessary skill for speeds greater than 70 or 80 mph / 130 kph. Car dynamics change radically once you start to exceed 90 and 100 mph / 140-160 kph, especially with respect to suspension (bumps) and aerodynamics, especially in cars that aren't properly designed for high-speed driving. To wit: it is far more difficult to get a driver's license in Germany.Driving etiquette and rules. In addition to formal car control classes, proper driving etiquette and rules need to be enforced beyond merely "signal to switch lanes," "look over shoulder," etc. For example: "left lane for passing ONLY." A big reason the autobahn works in Germany is because people religiously obey the lane rules: you keep as far to the right as possible, and use left lanes for passing ONLY.American culture. Most Americans' mentality towards driving cannot handle the far greater responsibility required by higher speed limits, let alone derestricted stretches of highway. Combine this with a general sense of entitlement (think large SUV sitting in the passing lane doing 55 mph while surrounding traffic is doing 65) and part of the problem is clearly cultural.Road construction. German autobahns are an engineering marvel of road surface construction: they are unbelievably well maintained, smooth, and with none of the poorly constructed undulations, bumps, and dips of American freeways (at least here in California). Further, they are all made of asphalt / tarmac unlike the recent trend (in California) of using noisy, low-friction concrete which is basically useless in the rain.Service stops. German (and many European countries) freeways have awesome "pitstop-like" gas stations: you don't have to fully exit the freeway, rather the station is on a sort of pit road alongside the freeway. This makes the entire freeway process -- especially on long road trips -- a far more efficient process and adds to the whole package. There's a reason why during my travels in Europe, and Germany in particular, I saw far fewer near-accidents and witnessed far fewer ignorant drivers as I cruised along at 220 kph / 140 mph than I do on a daily basis here in California at half that speed.

Why are there no Lamborghini or Ferrari ads on TV?

“people who can afford a Ferrari or a Lamborghini are not sitting at home watching television”Such a cliche answer. And yes they don't advertise on TV coz television is such a wide medium and many people watches ot . A lot of people from rich to poor watches television. So they don't wanna advertise on the television as there are very few to no potential customers. So they don't wanna waste money on advertising on TV. Because the view to buy ratio is pretty less compared to the other outlet for advertising Instead they advertise on big magazines and other rich mediums. And I know many people who can afford a Lamborghini and still watches TV.

Why can't cars attain the max speed which is printed/hardcoded at the speedometer?

It's really a margin of error. Like the 2016 Camaro 2SS, and it has a speedometer of 200 MPH. But the top speed of the car is around 160 MPH but that's with the governor on. I estimate that without the governor it could get to 185 MPH. Still almost 20 MPH above what it truly can do. Again margin of error. Just in case people modify it. Chevy and Ford are huge supporters of the aftermarket game, unlike Dodge. Chevy and Ford encourage people to modify and make their cars better, lighter and faster. They want people to supercharge their cars, put forged internals in, and to replace the exhaust system or to replace the interior seating. However, their are some cars who's speedometers are lower than the top speed. Such as the Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack. The car is pushing 182 as its top speed but the speedometer only goes up to 180MPH. The reason behind this. To discourage modification of the actual car. Also, I just learned this, but dodge actually encrypt their car computers and its more difficult to change the settings of the computer, again this is to discourage modification of the car. The Scat pack is packing in around 485HP. The reason why they want to discourage modification is because they want you to buy the next fastest car. Which is the SRT HELLCAT. which has 707 HP. so with around 10k in upgrade. I can get the scat pack doing 800HP. That's 100HP more than the hellcat and around 15k less than buying a hellcat. So all in all, most companies do it as a margin of error and for modification. However, a small portion of companies, like dodge, do it so then you'll buy the next fastest car from them and not from an aftermarket shop.

NFS Shift (Xbox 360) Codes and Cheats Help!?

It's easy to be confused by the XBox 360 "Redeem Code" option that gamers have been using since the console's release. However, NFS Shift has the very same option in-game. Go to options, then scroll down and you will see Redeem Codes.

Also, if you did put the codes in and they didn't work [which I highly doube would happen] then it would make sense to take your copy back to the store you bought it from.

As for codes you can use, there isn't any point as both unlockables are awarded at the end of career mode.

Why are there no Toyota vehicles in the latest Need for Speeds?

All games must license (pay for) the usage of real vehicles and real trademarks. They also are subject to restrictions imposed by the owner of the trademark. For example: In some past iterations of NfS as well as NFS:Payback, there are no Ferraris. Note that this isn’t only due to money - in the earlier games where “unlawful” activities were depicted (such as, hey, running from cops!) Ferrari refused to allow their cars to join in on the hooliganism. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 is the only NFS title that had both Ferrari cars AND racers-vs-police racing - later titles missed out on Enzo’s creations because they were heavily street-race oriented. Some other titles have had other restrictions imposed - for example, the BMW cars in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 did NOT get “NFS” versions, because BMW does not condone or endorse the use of third-party performance mods, which is what made the NFS editions unique. So, sometimes it’s money, sometimes it’s the reputation or legal stance of the brand involved.
