Why Live If We Literally Live For Nothing

Literally, what is the point of living to die?

the greatest thing you can do with your life is make a lasting impression on someone else's life. even in death you can never be forgotten because you live on in those people's hearts and stories forever.

I literally have nothing to live for?

Many years ago I bought an old green VW Beetle. When I bought it - I was sure it was going to be the only Beetle in town. [Because I couldn't remember seeing any] But soon after I got it - I couldn't believe how many VW Beetles I saw. It seemed like every time I went out for a drive I saw two or three of them. And a lot of green ones too. POINT BEING? We don't always see what's right in front of us. And right now - you can't see anything to live for. But I promise - there are lots of reasons. And they're all right in front of you. But the only way your going to see those reasons is to stop being so focused on how YOU feel. The moment you go out of your way to help someone ELSE [in a very real way - not just thinking of them] you'll begin to see what you can't see now.

I'm 28. I'm already tired of living. Nothing, literally nothing seems to inspire me to live. What should I do?

Friend, think yourself lucky. The greatest thing that happened to you is that you've stripped off all personal ambitions. Since you don't want to live for yourself, live for the less fortunate - people who cannot help themselves. Visit a local ngo. Buy some clothes for the elderly in an old age home. Help a kid to get education. Or gwt yourself a pet dog from the street. Spend quality time.know what life means!!!

I have literally nothing to live for. What is there left to do?

If you see your situation from a third person's perspective, for example your closest friend or someone you know closely, what sort of solution would he/she give? Some Insight..Things for you to find, in present-tense:1. You need to realize what happened between the time when you were happy and an A student to the E student and try to fix that.2. Find out the reason you lost your goal, what was this, how can it be fixed.3. Need for a good friend, find one or make one, simple, it will help, share your experience, you will get his/her perspective.Things which can divert your mind:1. Play a game (worked for me), escaping into a game world free's the mind, or watch a new TV series, discover new music, do something for your mind to escape to re-orient its disoriented state2. Do what you like, a hobby, learn something new, read a book, photography etc.3. Hang out with friends or travel a little, go to a new place for a month.Your end goals:1. If you were working hard for something and it no longer matters, go for the next best thing which matters currently, you are 17, don't worry, even if you fail and lose 1-2 years trying to get to what really makes you happy, the journey towards this failure will teach you something new.2. Why were you doing what you were doing earlier, what significance did that have? If a goal/purpose has lost its significance in its current moment, you had lost the motivation to do it long back, this is just when you realized it, time to move on.General definition of success vs age, varies:JRR Tolkiens Poem (the last line from the above info-graphic) is pretty epic:“All that is gold does not glitter,Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither,Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken,A light from the shadows shall spring;Renewed shall be blade that was broken,The crownless again shall be king.”"The Crownless shall be King", Don't worry, you have time. Stop searching for happiness, just do the things you love and find yourself again, do it better this time. (I learned this from being a gamer, you fail, you try again, you do it better this time with more experience)On the final note, for the sake of anyone who loves you, don't fall for any addiction, it will disable you, for a very long time.

I quite literally live in a daydream?

Ok so I have always had a really vivid imagination and ever since I was little I used to play pretend games by myself in my head or even sometimes outloud (I'm quite weird) but all the time lately Ive been doing it again and kindof daydreaming all the time I have a very boring life nothing ever happens and I don't have to many Friends the ones I do live far away and I don't see them so I'm always daydreaming and imagining all theese scenarios in my head little story's kindof like fanfiction stories imagining I'm the person and also imagining things I want to happen that never would So I'm so into my daydreams it's asif I see it all in front of me And I do this like 24/7 so I get told a lot I completely tune out the world when I do this And I don't listen Is this normal does anyone else do this to or am I just seriously weird?x
