Is there anything that women can bring to philosophy that men cannot? Explain.?
we are often seen as having a capacity to multi -task maybe that helps when trying to juggle concepts, I f you look at Simone de Beauvoir she seems to have been a reluctant philosopher a d it took a long time for her to be accepted as a thinker in her own right rather than as an adjunct to whom Sartre whom she described herself as his midwife for his ideas . Maybe all of us can think left or right brained but we have to want to - Personally I so love my creativity - logic can go hang - but I do make a great muse for my partner who is also useful in letting me know if my plans are unworkable & depend upon sky hooks. we certainly have different life experience so something to draw upon and I guess the big thing we know about is discrimination in all its forms.
Why do women want to do everything men do?
Shouldn't some things be left for men? I see women weight-lifting now, women are buy cars men would normally buy and racing them, women are buying big trucks and off-roading with them, women are riding motorcycles, fighting in the military, playing full-contact sports, etc, etc. As if that wasn't enough, women have to dress like men. Every single style of clothing men have, women eventually wind up stealing to have too. Pant suits, now women have them, skirts, believe it or not men started that style, yeah google it, women have had those for a while, football tee-shirts, the same style sneakers, they started wearing boxer shorts and shortly after boxer briefs cam out for men they started wearing boxer briefs. What the hell? They've even stopped looking for relationships and are into sexual adventures now. Shouldn't some things be left as men's and some as women's? If all men started freaking out about watching Cake Boss or making sure they're getting their updates from Perez all day, or making sure they diet so they can slim down as much as possible, started doing jobs like day care provider, house keeper, stay at home dad, wearing thongs, wearing stockings, and blouses, etc, etc, wouldn't you A) think it's weird, and B) maybe be a little pissed that men were copying everything you did? Can't women be original at all or do they need men to come up with ideas to copy?
What are some things women can say to women but men can't say to men?
Let me start with some things men could, but won't say to men that women will. Some of these have outliers, meaning I’m sure some men do these things and some women don't. This is just based on my experience.Man, your ass looks great in those pants!I love you so much, you're a great friend.I’ve had a really crappy day, can I have a hug?Wow, that outfit is so cute on you!I'm sure there are more, but I can't think of any right now. Instead, I’ll move on to things men can't say to other men that women can. Again, some of these have outliers, meaning I’m sure some men do these things and some women don't. Of course, if a man could do numbers 1–4 I’d be pretty damn impressed…Ugh, my period is way heavier than usual, I should go change my tampon.UGH, my cramps are so bad right now. Come feel!Sally, my water broke!Come feel my legs, I just shaved and they're so smoooooth.Come feel my legs, I haven't shaved in like a week and they're so flufffyyyy.(Yelling) Sally, can you bring me some toilet paper? Can women really do everything men can both physically and mentally?
A human being, of which both men and women are, can do amazing things, regardless of what body they are wearing. You don't tell a human being they can't do something, because they probably WILL go do it, just to spite you.That said, wearing a certain gender body is going to put some obstacles in the way of accomplishing their goal. A woman can become crazy strong and fit, and out-perform 95% of the men around her. A man can breastfeed (look it up; it's been done). But overall, a man will still beat a woman in a strength competition; and a woman will meet and beat a man in breastfeeding and child birth.This doesn't mean a woman shouldn't decide to be a fitness and weightlifting expert; or a man should just leave all child care to women. It just means, biologically, there are actual differences, and one gender will be overall better at some things than others. But don't tell me someone can't do something solely because of the body they are wearing. There will always be someone out there to prove you wrong.Now, mentally, while I agree that overall women have tendencies to work one way, while men have tendencies to work another, I don't agree that there are any limits. There is a woman, Marilyn von Savant, with a recorded IQ of 228 - to put that in perspective, Steven Hawking has an IQ of 160, according to google. Albert Einstein apparently had somewhere between 160–190. This shows, it's not what you have, it's what you do with it. And mentally, women have the ability to do anything they want.
What can men do that women cannot?
I am going to leave out all the physical and related behavioural differences and point a few things the men in my life do easily compared to us women and girls.They can keep secrets. They do not spread secrets around.They are not tied down by feelings of envy or jealousy. They are comfortable seeing others do well in life. It doesn't mean they do not work hard for success.Their friendships last longer with both men and women.They trust us more than we trust them.They are diplomatic in answering and handling others hence get a good name everywhere. We are more frank and curt.They prefer a peaceful house and are blind to small problems between people at home. Rather they sit like inert gases. We women enjoy each and every problem at home and neighbourhood and also enjoy gossiping about the happenings.They keep problems to themselves till it is solved, we create hell for everybody till we solve it.Men forgive and forget, we always remember, sometimes forgive but never forget. We remember things since we were 7 yrs old.Men understand only one meaning from one sentence. We understand ten meanings from one sentence.Their ok, bye, I see, Pl go, I will be back…all mean what they mean in simple language. We mean different things when we say even simple words like.. Yes, No, OK. You decide, next time..When in trouble or tension they become quiet or lie down, some sleep. When we are in trouble we call people, talk, discuss, scold, cry and create hell for everybody.Men can choose a shirt and pant in ten minutes in a shop. We take ten min to decide a shop, one hour for seeing, choosing, rejecting and going to the next shop. Repeating till we are tired till we take something, after going back to the first shop.They take 5 min to get ready, we take 5 hrs totally to decide, to prepare, to wear and check and change to another set after our mirror decides “no”.For hours together they can laze on the couch watching sports or share market prices with timely tea and snacks. We prefer going outdoors, even a mall without any purpose.They postpone house matters. They do house hold handy man work only on the last day till…the kitchen is flooded, or rain water splashes in or guests are arriving any time now.We clean the sink, washroom, window panes as and when needed.They are calm and don't crib. We crib a lot because they make us do that.
