Why My Hair Always Frizzy

Why is my hair in the back always dry and frizzy?

funny, i have the same problem. frizz is caused by lack of moisture, so use a moisturizing and hydrating shampoo and conditioner. use a little more conditioner and leave it on longer, especially in the back. use these fun hair masks to help too.

Mix in a spray bottle: water (alkaline if u want to straighten it) and a a tablespoon conditioner (u can also add some shine products, anti frizz serum, or heat protector. shake it up and spray a reasonable amount on ur hair. shake before each use.

Here are some fun hair masks to help with the strength and shine:

Mash 8 to 10 strawberries in a bowl and add 1 tbsp mayonnaise to it. Mix it well and gently massage it into your scalp. Make sure your hair is clean and damp. Cover your head with a warm towel and leave the mask on your head for about half an hour. Wash it off with a regular shampoo. Use this moisturizing hair mask once or twice a month.

Mix half a cup of you fattiest, cholesterol packed mayonnaise with 2 tbsp honey (for some shine) olive oil (to hydrate dry hair) or apple cider vineger (adds shine and health). Using a blender, mix the ingredients well. Apply in generous amounts onto the scalp. Wash it off after half an hour with a mild shampoo. This recipe makes a great hair mask conditioner. The smell of mayo can be really overwhelming so add a couple drops of coconut oil (reduces dandruff), almond oil (hydrate dry hair), or avocado oil (more hydration0. dont put too much or ull flatten ur hair.

Take the flesh of 1 ripe avocado and mash it well. Mix 1 tbsp honey and 1 tbsp olive oil. Blend the mixture well. Apply on the scalp and using a comb spread it well through your hair. Wash it off after 20-30 minutes. This is a good hair mask treatment that can be done once a week for acquiring shiny hair.

You can also rinse hair in apple cider vinegar, or lemon juice (if ur blonde). mix it with a little honey if u want.

HOT OIL TREATMENT: This is only for the driest hair, if your hair isnt really dry, this will make it look wet and feel really oily, unless u wash it out with 2 doses shampoo, which will really defeat the purpose of the treatment.

microwave 1/3 a cup olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil, or avocado oil until reasonably hot. comb through your hair until coated evenly. wrap hair in a warm or hot towel for 45 minutes. wash out with a little shampoo. condition if you do.

Hope this helped!!

My hair is always frizzy and dry after I wash it?

I'm an 18 year old girl and my hair is medium length and thick. I find that every time I wash my hair, it feels smooth and soft when wet but when it dries it becomes puffy and frizzy. I've tried every kind of anti-frizz shampoo, deep conditioning products, spray, hot oil, blow drying, the lot. I eat healthily, trim the ends regularly, I do not dye it and straighten/curl no more than once every one/two weeks so I don't know why it'd be unhealthy, but unless I spend hours styling after washing it looks puffy, messy and gross. I'm trying to grow it out long so seriously, what more can I do? Thank you :)

Why is my hair always so frizzy?

Because you dont treat it right :) All the trick is what you do after the shower. Ok firstly shampoo and condition your hair ( Better with a mosturizing conditioner) then towel dry your hair carefuly without damaging hair . After 5 minutes your hair will be dump then you should apply a BIT amount of olive oil . Less than this that will make your hair greasy and enough to keep down the frizz .! (Every hair needs a different amount of olive oil. ) Then let your hair air dry and if you want and have the money use an anti frizz serum .!
Warning
Never brush your hair if its curly ! Never brush your hair when its wet only when you have the conditioner on it . Dont use styling tools .
Hope it helps :)

My hair is always frizzy!?

I have dark brown, thick wavy-ish hair and it's always frizzy! It's so difficult to take care of.
I used to wash my hair everyday, but now I've attempted at "weaning" myself out of the habit and now wash it every second day. During the weekends (if I'm not going out) I usually won't wash it at all to try let the natural oils back on my scalp.
I have layers and side bangs, and it's really irritating to have to take care of it. I wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner, and then when I get out, I wrap my hair in a towel. Afterwards, I brush out my hair with a regular hairbrush, and then put the hair back in the towel. After a while, I'll rub my hair dry with the towel (or 70% dry) and then continue with my life, letting the rest air dry. I used to use a hair dryer but that made my hair even frizzier, so it was bad.
My biggest problem is that in the morning, I really like my hair. It's quite fluffy and nice - but towards the end, it gets kind of flat and a bit greasy.

that's not me, and it's not that greasy at all. it's more of the texture - you can see the hair is a bit weedy and flat. That's what ends up happening. I really want nice, smooth hair that always looks good! My hair always "breaks" apart and I end up looking really dumb. Help?

Why is my hair so frizzy after straightening it?

A lot of people ask this question. There are a lot of thing to consider before straightening your hair. Here are a few questions to answer. How healthy is your hair? If your hair feels dry, brittle, or is fragile, it is not wise to apply heat. Your hair is damaged and should be repaired. Deep conditioning will help immediately. I have some recipes you can try at home ;-).What type of hair do you have? Knowing your hair type is key when selecting a flat iron / straightener. Hair with no curl should use heat protection and lower heat settings. Hair with some texture, usually 2b-3C, benefits from heat protection and mid range heat. Please do not go over 375 F. 4A-4C benefits from light moisturizing before adding heat protection. Please do not go over 450 F. Anything any hotter and you are frying your hair! What type of straightener are you using? Always use adjustable heat tools. HI, Low, Off is not good enough. Get serious about your tools. You need know what temperature you are using.I have a helpful healthy hair blog that might help with future questions, check it out. https://www.beingmartika.com

Why is the bottom half of my hair frizzy and gross but the rest is shiny and perfect?

This might be confusing, but I will try to explain it as much as can(: Okay, so the top half of my hair is always shiny, soft and smooth. I adore it! Then you look at the bottom, and its disgusting looking. I want to do a half up half down hairstyle, but I can't because the bottom half of my hair is really gross. Also, can you reccomend a really good deep conditioning treatment? I used all of mine, and I didn't really like it. Thanks so much!

The bottom layer of my hair is so frizzy and rough..?

The top layer of my hair is really soft and smooth and straight (people always compliment it LOL xD) But the bottom layer is a frizzy mess and I don't know why! The hair strands are curly and frizzy and really rough. Why is this? And what can I do to make it soft?
