Why are some websites not opening on my phone, but are on my laptop connected to same network?
Hi the smartphone Internet browser is based on Chrome. If the Chrome browser in the PC cannot open a certain webpage, Android Chrome will behave the same. In the event that you cannot open certain websites on your smartphone, try these following steps based on official samsung publication:Make sure the Java Script is set to ON in your browser. Turn ON Java Script and access the page again. If the page is still not accessible, proceed to next step.Test the same page using the same Wi-Fi connection on a different device. If same problem occurs, there is a problem with the website. Some websites may have limited access. Otherwise, if the page works in Wi-Fi connection, proceed to next step.Try testing the same page using Chrome browser on a PC to isolate the problem. But if the page is still unaccessible using PC Chrome, there is a problem with the website.Check if your phone's browser settings has an option for "Request for Desktop version". If it does try enabling it to view the webpage.Note: If you are trying to view the website in an office or private network, make sure that the site is allowed on the network.

My phone is not running 3G but 2G is working fine. 3G is working fine on another phone on the same sim. What can be the problem with my phone?
First of all do check if your phone is capable of running a 3G SIM card. (This can be checked on your phone's specification list)If your phone is capable of running a 3G SIM card and still doesn't connect to a 3G network follow these steps :1.Go to your phone's settings.2. Go to SIM cards and mobile networks.3.Choose your appropriate SIM card. (In my case it's BSNL and I use single SIM)4. Choose preferred network type from this listSelect whichever network type you want to have. Try rebooting your phone once you finish these steps.If the problem again shows up it is better you contact your customer care and support.Note : I'm using Xiaomi redmi note 3. The settings panel might be different for the phone that you're using.
How come my 3G network is not working on my phone?
There is a difference between 3G and WI-FI network. What you checked is WI-Fi not the 3G. Try to reconnect the 3g network or incase of a network conflict, shut the Wi-Fi and try to use 3G only. If that doesn't work, then restart your phone, that should fix it. In Settings >Wireless and networks, you should see mobile network and it should say connected. If it's connected and there is no connection, then you should probably restart it and it should work. You can also search online for other solutions.
How safe is my computer on a public wifi network?
When I go onto a public wifi network, it says "it may be possible for others to view your online activities." But when I went back to the store I got my PC from (with Windows 7 and MacAfee security software), the tech guy there said, "Don't worry, you're safe--your firewall blocks anyone from getting to see anything on your computer." Is he right?
