My JIOFI device is not giving speed even more than 1 MBPS. Why?

Even I live in Bhopal, and I don’t think it is a problem with your JioFi hotspot. However, if you are still facing the issue then check out the Operation Band from settings. If it is Band5, then go around on a walk and check if the speed increases on other locations or not. If it does, then that means you need to keep your device at any other location where you are getting proper speed. In short, your JioFi device isn’t getting proper band.Try to get Band40, which gives the top speed of Jio. Unfortunately, you can not set the Band40 manually in JioFi, so you need to keep walking around until the JioFi doesn’t automatically catch and set it.BTW, JioFi 2 can give you the download speed up to 150 Mbps or 18.75 MB/s. So it might not be the fault of your device. :)

My Jio internet speed is 10 kbps inside the room but 780 kbps in the roof. Why does the speed vary so much?

The internet speed inside your room is slow because of poor signal strength. Building structure and material is generally the leading cause of poor cell phone signal.Following are the list of things that affect cellular signal strength:1. Distance from the nearest cell tower: This is the first things a cellular service provider fixes the problem of weak signal in an area.2. Local terrain features: Hills, mountains, ridges and terrains block signals. If there is higher ground between your phone and the cell tower, that can cause signal issues.3. Man-made obstructions: A nearby bridge, highway overpass or almost anything built by humans can interfere with cell phone connectivity. RF signals can’t easily pass through metal or concrete, so anything built with either or both can cause reception problems. Now coming to your problem. The reason behind the slow internet inside your home must have following two reasons:1. The nearby 4G tower is at such distance from your home is that the signal strength is already poor.2. The wall with concrete and metal is further weakening the signals inside your home.Suggest you to raise a complaint with Jio Customer Care to take care of your problem. Sometimes aligning the antennas of nearby towers solves these kind of problems.

Which is better 4G speed Jio or Airtel?

I can answer that Question with one simple answer!JIO is the best operator out there. All plans ,right now, seems similar to be same as that of Jio and a few might even reduce the prices. But We need to talk in the perspective of the mobile devices that we use. All 4g phones don't provide the same speed. There are different bands that these 4g devices can catch. Most of the china sets that people buy within 5k-15k uses 40 or 41 band which catch 2300Mhz and 2500Mhz respectively. Most networks like airtel don't perform best in these bands as they are not true 4g. Phone prefer to reduce speeds and catch 3g speeds which can be caught using the top bands.Airtel offers a set speed of under 20Mbps or 3MBps speed with 40 or 41 band Whereas, Jio offers under 50Mbps or 6MBps speed with the same 40 or 41 band. This is made possible by Jio providing VoLTE or HD-LTE.But, If you have a premium phones Like Oneplus 5T or Iphone, They offer a better band of 66 (1700Mhz) which can catch what most mobile operator call as 4G+. Under this circumstance, Airtel out performs Jio and provide a higher speeds.Talking about Jio, There had been alot of problems with the calls but all that seems to have been solved right now. Jio gives better 4g speeds at all times. When while using Airtel 4g on band 66, I was getting a lower speeds of under 10Mbps or 1MBps. Airtel is not fast everywhere but Jio is sure fast in all places. Most people try to divert your mind when you go to buy a new sim. But first look at your phone specs and the top band it uses for 4G.I can guarantee that Jio is best on all 4g bands unlike other operator. But under band 66 and good signal, Jio might fall a-bit short in term of speed to Airtel.Choose wisely.PSPORTED FROM AIRTEL TO JIONagendra Allam

After using the daily limit of 1.5Gb of data in Jio, can I use it further?

Hi there ! Thanks for the A2A.Well, the answer is YESAfter the daily limit of 1 GB data is over you can still use the internet but at a reduced rate of 128 kbps. All the plans for JioPrime customers comes with UNLIMITED INTERNET USAGE EVEN AFTER THE CONSUMPTION OF DAILY DATA LIMITS.So basically you can make calls , text , surf the internet even after your 1 GB data limit is exhausted but at a speed less than or equivalent to 128 kbps.Hope this helps :)
