Why Should Every School Should Have A Talent Show

Why should every school should have a talent show?

Having a talent show would:
Build a sense of community, especially for an online school
Build confidence in the students
Help students learn to get in front of people and perform
Let the students get to know each other better
Be fun
Raise money for something (You could charge people.)
Help students learn more about what they are capable of
Teach kids how to be responsible (The students could run the talent show themselves, and learn how to manage money and run a show, etc.)
Entertain the entire community

Should I do my school's talent show?

I'm really scared, haha. You have to audition before you can actually do the talent show, so I know that if I'm not a good singer I wont make the cut anyway. So I'm just worried that if I make the cut, Im gonna freeze on stage, forget the lyrics, or do something stupid. My nana encourages me all the time, saying Im a really good singer (I sing for her and my great grandma a lot), but I'm scared I'm going to mess up, or someone will make fun of me.
Two of my friends are auditioning too, and they want me to do it, but idk. PLEASE HELP.!

What should i sing for my crush in my school talent show with my band?

Try these songs by a band called The Bangles -
Dover Beach
Walking Down your street
Something That You Said (You will LOVE this)
Between the Two (Very rock)
Be With You
I'll Set You Free (The lyrics are perfect)
OR -
By Susanna Hoffs -
That's Why Girls Cry, or So Much For Love, if you're feeling a little bitter...

All these are rock songs, and with a bit of patience, you should be able to find most of them through Limewire or on Youtube or somewhere...

If you do decide to use the rarer ones, send me a message and I will give them to you...
Please listen to them, I'm sure you'll love some of them!
Let me know which song you ended up performing!

What Song by Fall Out Boy should i do 4 the school talent Show???

Your going to do a FALL OUT BOY song for your school talent show????!!!! YOU ARE LIKE MY FAVORITE FREAKING PERSON RIGHT NOW. YOU ROCK. Neway it kind of depends if you're going for the dancing or the singing or the crowds reaction. If you're going for the dancing you'll want an upbeat song like Dance, Dance maybe. If you're going for the singing I'd go with Golden or I've Got A Dark Alley And A Bad Idea That Says You Should Shut Your Mouth, one of the songs with a slower tempo would probably be easier to sing. If you want one to please the crowd, it kinda depends on the crowd if your crowd likes FOB then do one they'll know. If the crowd doesn't like them so much do one that's fun upbeat and isn't on the radio like Hum Hallelujah, The Take Over, The Breaks Over, I Slept With Someone in Fall Out Boy and all I got was this stupid song written about me, Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy, A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More 'Touch Me', 7 Minutes in Heaven, Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner, Saturday, or Homesick At Spacecamp. Sorry they are all such good songs though and if it happens to have a cuss word in it sing something else in it's place or kind of sing it but don't let it sound like you said it and maybe no one will notice.~LOVE

Can I do it? I'm auditioning for my school's talent show, but I'm doubting myself with doing it. The song I'm doing is powerful (This is Me-The Greatest Showman) and I can hit all the notes, but I have a past of stage fright. Is it worth the try?

You must go for it!Many times we have to pick up ourselves when we fall. You may just be nervous which is all right. Nervousness is something everyone faces and even the best stage performers in the world contend with it occasionally. It gets lesser with more practice. Your anxiety is borne out of worry whether you'd come off stage being appreciated or not. If you don't take this chance, how would you know if you're good or not? I'd encourage you to take a bold step and subsequently face all challenges as an opportunity to overcome and succeed.Have you heard of Paul Potts? Paul Robert Potts is a British tenor. In 2007, he won the first series of ITV's Britain's Got Talent with his performance of "Nessun dorma", an aria from Puccini's opera Turandot. His story is an inspiring one and you'd love it so much. He was always nervous each time he went in for an auditioning or performance. Today, he's an icon in the opera world. I'd encourage you to find and read more about him.

There’s a talent show at my high school and I can’t dance or sing what should I do?

Mh... what's about a monologue?

Is it bad that I ruined the school talent show? I signed up for it, and then me and my friend performed a communist song, we weren't serious at all.

Well, here’s one lesson you can learn from the experience: if you want to be funny, do something ridiculous in a completely serious way. Imagine if you and your friend marched out, did some incredible choreography with red flags, and sung the song in impeccable harmony. It would have been awesome. It would also have been a huge amount of work.Good comedy is, and should be, hard work. Think of that the next time you watch Mr. Bean or listen to Weird Al. But it’s worth it.
