Do Australians hate Indians residing in Australia?

I’m from India and living in Australia since 2015, more than 2 years in Melbourne and recently moved to Sydney. I have traveled to Adelaide and Tasmania as well.In these 2.5 years of my stay in Australia, I haven’t found in general that Australians hate Indians. There are some incidents in news, which may include racism against Indians , but that is not the common practice.I have Australian friends who are really nice people and our races never created any problem between our friendship. I’m working with Australians and there are no issues as well. In terms of laws, Australia is very strict against racism as well. There are always a bunch of people in any country who can act as racist against some other races , but that’s only a small part of the population. Australia is a country which is truly Multinational, you can find people from almost every part of the World. And that makes Australia so beautiful and unique.I remember an incident happened to me once, I was with few of my friends in an Irish Pub drinking, and as it was very crowded , we shared our table with 3 other people- 1 Kiwi guy and 1 Aussie girl (a couple) and one Aussie guy. We all were very drunk, and the conversation between the Aussie guy and me went like this-Aussie Guy : (Very drunk) What do you do ?Me : I work in IT.Aussie Guy : Oh you all Indians come here and take our jobs !!Me: I didn’t come by myself, I came on a sponsored visa coz there is some skill shortage in Australia for our field.Aussie Guy : (Very angry coz I have answered him and was saying something more which I don’t remember any more now)But, then his friend- the couple interfered and supported me instead of their Aussie friend and told him ‘Indian people are nice, and India is a beautiful country. And there is no issues with them coming here’.The Aussie guy later apologies , and told he is just drunk !!This is the only incident which I have found a bit rude, but otherwise people are nice. And the country itself is beautiful , nice, and really good for living.Oh, btw, Aussie people really love the Indian food- specially the Butter Chicken :)

Has a celebrity ever replied to your direct message?

Yes! Yes! Yes! I've got a like or a retweet from celebs like Sunny Leone, Satish Kaushik etc but I've got reply in DM from 2 celebs. This was the first time when I got a reply in DM from a celebrity and it was none other than the very brilliant actor Mr. Irrfan Khan. So, I was in the second year of my graduation and my 4th semester exams were about to begin in 2/3 days. I had prepared well but I was a bit tensed. I was just scrolling through my twitter feed when I saw a tweet from him. I replied to it and without expecting a reply back from him, I went off Twitter to study again. When I came back to twitter, I saw a message notification. When I opened it, I was shocked, it was from Irrfan sir. Below is the screenshot of that conversation. He definitely made my day. I worked even harder and scored much more than previous semesters. :)The second time I got a reply from a celeb was very recently when I had just finished watching Sacred Games (TV series) - Wikipedia. I absolutely loved all the characters but Bunty was amazing. It was played by Jatin Sarna - Wikipedia. There were a lot of memes on Sacred Games especially associated with Bunty’s character. So I followed #SacredGames and #SacredMemes on Instagram. One day I came across Jatin’s profile where he was mentioned in the caption of a meme. I went to his profile and sent a DM regarding how much I loved his character and how brilliantly he executed it. He replied with a “Thank you”.PS: I don't have a screenshot right now because my Instagram is deactivated. I'll provide when I activate it.Thank you :)
