Why The Iranian People Hate Them Leaders

Do American people hate Iranian people?

Americans are generally really nice people who don't hate much of anyone, BUT they often like to pass judgment on the governments of other countries without knowing all the facts. For example, while ALL Iranians know about what happened to Mossadeq because of Kermit Roosevelt; the history of the Shah of Iran, and the full story behind the Iranian revolution, very few Americans know any details of these events, especially those facts related to American involvement. This is never mentioned at the lower end of education (ie. high school) and even only a few universities include these subjects on their syllabi, as far as I know. All they are told is that the current government is 'crazy', and 'Anti-American' without any explanation about WHY. The media in the USA is almost as closed a the media in Iran in this sense. If more Americans want to learn about their country's involvement in Iranian politics, they can check out many websites, like the ones below. Then maybe they can make clearer judgements about Iran's government and people.

On a people to people level, do Iranians hate Americans?

A2A.No. In Iran, there’s a clear distinction between the policies of American government and the people of America. Iranian officials always have said that “’Death to America’ means death to the policies of American government, not to the people of America”. As an American, you can say “we choose our government democratically, so hating our government is hating us”, that’s true, agreed, but then you have to accept that “you” are in charge of overthrowing Mosaddegh’s government (1953 Iranian coup d'état), being a main supporter of Saddam Hossein in his invasion to Iran (Iran–Iraq War), shooting down an Iranian passenger aircraft in our airspace in which all the crew were killed (Iran Air Flight 655) and supporting terrorist groups such as Jundallah in killing Iranian civilians.Read the diaries of those Americans who have traveled to Iran and you will find out that Iranians actually love Americans.

Do the people of Iran actually like their leader?

Im an Iranian and Im not totally against the Govermant

But i think Ahmadinijad does not Desreve the Position he has got.

I Just Wish He wouldnt be Elected Again ..
We Had enough of him.

edit:
Ignore ''Setare" she is still too young to talk about politician

And Regime means the Whole Government

Are iranians rude people?

Mostly women are ignored and in the background.

As everywhere, the difference is between the ignorant and the educated. And by and large, Iranians have the best sense of humor of the inhabitants of any country I've visited or lived in. Certainly better than my own (European) country, which i won't name here. On the other hand, we are polite.

Why do Iranians/Persians hate Arabs so much?

Why do Iranians hate Arabs so much? Farsi comes from Arabic and Iranian and Arabic cultures are very similar, so why so much hate between them? It has to be more than the Shia Sunni thing. And please dont tell me that they hate arabs because arabs occupied Iran. Persian empire did it in the first place and occupied arab lands longer than the arabs occupied Iranian land. I have read history from independent sources and this is what the history is. Dont get me wrong, I love Iran and Iranian people a lot, but I am just wondering, what is the reason for the hatred? Most Arabs I have met, praise Iran and Iranian culture, but most Iranians I have met, say they hate Arabs. I understand hating some Arab leaders, but I am sure most people in arab countries dont agree with their leaders either. Can anyone explain?

Do Americans and Israelis hate Iranian people?

Americans hate the government of the Iran, especially as they ordered Quds forces to attack Americans in the Iraq War. Americans have no beef whatsoever with the Iranian people, that’s why we have so many here who fled the Iranian Revolution of 1979. Most Americans who even think about Iran find its leadership strange, like Ahmadinejad who declared that the Holocaust did not happen. Most Americans do not trust the Iranian government with nuclear weapons.

Why do people hate Hugo Chavez?

The US is very imperialistic. We meddle in the politics of countries all over the world. We support revolutions against leaders we don't like, and if leaders play ball with us we'll help them keep their own people in control. When it comes right down to it, we will actually pick a nation's leader, especially if that country has resources we want (oil being no. 1).

In the last century there have been a handful of leaders of smaller countries who refused to sell out to the US. They were all villainized and demonized as 'communists', as dangerous to our interests. In fact the list reads like the FBI most wanted. Kaddafi, Castro, The Ayatollah Khomeni, Salvador Allende, Mohammed Mossadegh in Iran, etc. These were all leaders we declared 'dangerous' because they wanted to keep their wealth in their own country to raise the standard of living of their own people rather than line the pockets of US corporations.

Chavez is just the most recent of these. He wouldn't let big corporations designated by the Bush admin. come in and take over his oil industry. He wanted the wealth generated by Venezuela's oil to benefit the people of Venezuela. To the US, that makes him a dangerous international criminal. You can bet the CIA is doing covert ops in Venezuela to try to bring him down. They'll say his people hate him and want a new leader, but its really the oil companies.

We did the same thing in Iran in 1953. Iran elected a president, Mohammed Mossadegh, who announced he was going to nationalize the oil industry so as to keep the oil wealth in the country and give Iranians a better life. He was taken out by the CIA who mounted a fake 'revolution' against him and the US installed the Shah as the leader of Iran. The Shah sold us the oil cheap, he and his family got extremely wealthy while 99% of the population of Iran sank into poverty. The US supplied the Shah with all the weapons and training he needed to control his own people. There would never have been an Islamic revolution in Iran except for the US's meddling.

Do Americans hate Iranians?

When I was a teenager (showing my age here) I lived a few miles away from Norwich University (Norwich University) which is a private military academy in Vermont.  At the time, about 12-15% of the student body, all male military cadets, were Iranian, many of them relatives of one degree or another to the family of the Shah.I dated a couple of the boys, just movies, very modest.  Mostly I knew them through wargaming. I was the only Jewish girl near their age in the whole county -- people of the book and all, and part of my family is central Asian, so at least there was something close enough, as it were, heh.It is probably hard for Americans to remember how alliances come and go.  We are a young people with short memories.  I remember when the Shah fell, and I had friends who were Iranian cadets on campus who all were sent home, very suddenly, to very uncertain fates.  I was so worried! It turned out they were all ok, but no one knew.  Regime change in the region was often bloody. As it turned out they returned on special visas some months later.  (This surprises a LOT of people, when I tell them this!)When my own son started at Norwich some years back, I told these stories to the young men and women in his cadre, and I would tend to say their heads exploded.  Young people are not used to thinking about the changing winds of global politics at all.  However I thought it was a good lesson for them. After all, 70 years ago, our greatest enemies were Japan and Germany, and now we are nearly unimaginably close allies.  A bit over two centuries ago, we had a spat with Great Britain and today we boast a "special relationship."Persia is a very old nation, with a very proud heritage.  Surely we can wait to be allies again.  And there is no reason to hate the Iranians over the politics with this or that regime -- just as I hope that the Iranians would not hate me because I am an American because of the acts of this or that administration.Today we have more openings for trade and travel opening up, I think.  I am watching what will happen.  Maybe we will see more Iranian students here in Boston again.  I am too old to travel there.  But I think any reconciliation among Americans and the people of the region is in the interest of all the people in the world, right now.  It is vital.
