My verizon account was locked?
There are two levels of "locked" that can apply to your online account with Verizon Wireless. If you have unsuccessfully attempted to log in several times, you will be blocked from trying again for several hours. I believe this lasts for three hours, but I'm not certain. If this happens, you will need to either wait it out or try to reset your Online Password. If you call Customer Service at this step, they will only be able to walk you through resetting the password, which is something you really should be able to do on your own. Now, if you have unsuccessfully attempted to reset the Online Password so many times, you will be given a message stating your account has been locked and at this point you WILL need to contact customer service to have the account unlocked. You will still have to verify account information at this point, but your Customer Service Rep can assist in "secondary verification" if you need it. As long as you can verify the account, they will lift the second-tier block and walk you through resetting the Online Password as before. In order to reset the Online Password, you will need three of four things: Your five-digit billing zip code as it appears on your bill and either the last four digits of the account holder's SSN (or tax ID for business accounts) or the one-to-five digit Billing Password (this is different from the Online Password) if one has been established. Once that is clear, you will need to either be able to answer the Secret Question, if established, or have the phone number you entered available to receive a temporary Online Password through text.

yea im sorry i know its already after the exam but it happened to me 2 days before the exam so i got to call them and they unlocked it. I hope they did the same for you!!! Btw the exam was crazy!!
Account locked?
I recently opened a checking account at a bank. Well, tonight I tried to enroll online on their website so I could have access to my account. I kept trying and starting over because each time I was getting an "error message". My account information and pin is all correct. The last time I tried it said "my account has been locked please call customer service"(they are closed right now),does this mean I can't use my credit card/checking account? Thanks.
Regions bank account locked up?
Okay, so I have plenty of money in my regions bank account and haven't gotten into any kind of trouble with the law. I used my check card friday, but saturday morning came around on my way to work and I was trying to buy a biscuit and my card was rejected. After work, I tried buying gas..no luck either. So now it is Sunday and still doesn't work. I got emails from subscriptions (netflix, xbox) saying they are having trouble authorizing my visa check card... I have no idea what is going, not the first clue. Maybe it is for security purposes like someone trying to scam me? I am going to the bank in the morning, but I want to know..it is bothering me ha. Any help/advice would be gladly appreciated.
My bank locked my account but can i still use an atm?
Hi, I'm on vacation in Atlanta, and my debit card is my source of funds right now and I got a call from my bank today (First Niagara) and they informed me that there was suspcious activity so they locked my account, but how am I suppose to survive while I'm away from home? Can I still use my debit card at an atm? I've tried calling my banks customer service but its after hours. So even with my account locked can I still use an atm to take out money?

I filed taxes for the first time this year when i first did it with a person my mom paid to do it in a office and everything they told me i was goin to get 496$ which i thought was great then a few days later irs said there was an error and found out i was declaring myself when my mom also claimed me (which i thought was wierd cuz although im in high school im 19 and working) so my papers was said to be wrong so my amount changed to $154 and had it supposedly amended well the day for tax return came instead of 154 i got the 496 which of course i was like wth?? i thought i could still use at leasst 154 of it since it was wat they were suppose to give me well ito like a lil into the rest like 30$ and i got a call sayin my bank acount has been frozen i am currently tryin to get the taxes fixed for like a month and i havnt gotten any noticees in the mail in fact they keep sendin more money in larger amounnts. does anyone know wats goin on? wats goin to happen to me? or wat do i do? im really nervous.

today i was goingto renew my sallie mae and since i forgot my password i had them send me a temporary password so i could log in and then reset my password, but for some reason the password they sent me was not working first i copied it and pasted it but nothing, then i wrote in myself and and nothing, then i thought i had remembered my password and tried to put it in but i got this message "Your account has been locked, please contact your system administrator to reset your password" who would my system administrator be? please i need to solve this by the end of the week! has this happened to anyone, what did you do!
