BING is Microsoft's alternative search engine to google, you can see by it's name here: "Because It's Not Google" It will be installed on your browser (presumably Internet explorer) and will let you search from any site. Usually these search bars are located in the top right corner of your browser. As for whether it is important... It will help slightly because you won't have to keep re-typing bing.com everyone you want to search. However, if you have many add ons (tool bars) Internet is likely to crash or slow down. Basically, it's your choice whether to keep it or not. In my opinion BING is a rubbish search engine and it would be a lot better for you to download the google toolbar if you wanted it. Goole toolbar also has things like translate, finance, maps etc already installed on the tool bar.
