Get music onto 1st gen ipod touch without itunes?

I have the 1st generation ipod touch and want to copy the music from my computer to the ipod. I've tried Real Player, Windows Media Player, Music Match Jukebox, none of them recognize my ipod. I can't download itunes because i'm on someone's computer that doesn't want anything downloaded onto it and only her user account (which is password protected will allow downloading). So i'm trying to find a way to get the music on here without iTunes and without downloading any other software. I've tried copying and pasting from the My Music folder but this PC is recognizing my touch as a camera!\

I really don't know what to do and I hope someone can help.

Ipod nano keeps disconnecting itself when used with itunes.?

I don't think you have a problem at all. When you downloaded new music on x-mas, you had new info. to put on the iPod. I'm guessing that, since then, you haven't put any new music on it, and that's why it's not updating anything---there's nothing to update. That's why it's saying that it's "Ok to Disconnect". It's not saying that it's broken or not responding, but that, should you want to disconnect, you would be able to do so. Once you introduce a new piece of hardware (i.e. camera, iPod, printer, etc.) to your computer, it recognizes it and kinda keeps it attached...to unplug the camera, etc. without pissing off your computer, you have to first "eject hardware".

download some new music to iTunes, either via a CD you already own, or by purchasing it. then plug in your iPod. it should tell you not to disconnect and it should update itself. If that works, then that was the problem. If not, then it's probably that one of your ports is messed up. Good luck!

My iPhone's photos are not in iTunes, and they won't sync. What do I do?

If you mean the iPhone camera pictures, Connect your iPhone to computer through  USB cable, and then open 'My computer', click on what should say 'Apple iPhone'  (possibly have a picture of a camera next to it). And then go to folder  'Internal Storage -> DCIM -> 800AAAAA'. You should find all your pictures  and videos that you recorded with your iPhone. For Mac user, you can use  iPhoto to transfer the camera pictures. If you mean the photos that you sync  from iTunes. You may refer to this step by step guide, it's about how to copy  photos from iPhone/iPod back to computer.
