Well, this thing happened to me and there can be two solutions for your problem.Go anonymous on youtube or turn on the restricted mode on youtube,or just watch that video without signing with your real account.Or else what you can do,is create another account with different name and password.Or go to your creator studio and head over to subscribers,comments and messages sections there you’ll find all the comments that are been spamed.Basically youtube spams comments and thats why they dont show up but there are many more reasons why comments don’t show up.This thing worked for me .This things might help you.:D
Why won't Youtube let me like people's comments?
I just got a Youtube account the other day, and it lets me comment, 'like' the video, and subscribe, but it wont let me 'like' someone's comment on a video. I click the thumbs up button next to someone's comment, but when I refresh the page, it doesn't show a ( 1 ) or a higher number. And it won't say on my channel that I liked it. Why?
Why do people on youtube post mean comments on videos they hate?
I'm so sick of people with horrible language and bad additudes posting mean comments on a video everyone else likes. I mean if they hate it so much, wouldn't they want to stay away from it? Why do they click on the video if they can't stand it? Just to bash people who like it? It just doesn't make any sense Like for example My Little Pony. I saw someone post about ten long comments under one of the episodes about why they hate it and argue with people for weeks! I mean don't they have a life? People who don't like a show should keep it to themselves and not take their anger out on inocent people. What is their problem???

You may have gotten to restricted mode somehow. Go to settings, general, and make sure restricted mode is turned off. My 3 yr old somehow hit too many buttons watching Spiderman vids. This is how I figured out the solution.

You probably don’t want to turn off comments completely, as some comments have good value, adding insight, hosting good discussion on the content of the video. I would recommend using a chrome extension to hide the hateful, racist, viral comments.
Why cant I see comment on YouTube?
Probably went to Spam or Under Review. If your comment contained any links or was in all caps then it gets marked as spam. On popular videos your comment will almost never appear unless you scroll down very far or the comment gets a lot of likes.
Setting so subscribers can't see your comments on other videos?
Hi, The new youtube homepage is more open like facebook. I see that people who I am subscribed to show up on my wall comments they have left on other videos etc. I was wondering how to turn that off for my account, so that anyone who is subscribed to me wont be able to see on their homepage other videos I have commented on? The reason you can’t reply to Youtube comments is usually because you have a setting in your Google+ to not allow it. It’s a very unfortunate feature for google to include. I honestly have no idea why they have or think someone might want to be allowed to comment on Youtube.To be able to reply to youtube comments again do the following:Go to Youtube settingsClick on “Edit On Google +”Click on the Youtube tabClick on Google+ settingsChange the who can comment on your public posts to “Anyone”
