What do guys think of woman who act aloof?
As a guy, I think aloofness (is that a word?) is kinda attractive...but most guys find it hard to decipher. It makes you unapproachable to someone who isn't confident in their social skills to come up to you. While you might not notice that guy who's been look at you for the past twenty minutes....he's thinking "she doesn't even care that I'm looking at her." See the big difference? A girl may be lonely, but from the outside, she might look taken care of and not needing of that guy's attention. On the other hand, a guy could say...."how can I get her attention?" Then proceed to make an a$$ out of himself. Or he could be sincere, but like I said....it's hard on a guy. Another issue attached to the guys who might approach you......is the competition guy. I noticed a comment saying..."it give more competition....or something like that. Those guys are losers. Women aren't comptetion. Either you have it or you don't.
What are some things women can say to women but men can't say to men?
Let me start with some things men could, but won't say to men that women will. Some of these have outliers, meaning I’m sure some men do these things and some women don't. Why do men look and say nothing?
We say nothing for we are awestruck by the beauty we see. We are actually wondering how we could be next to you, talking about things and finding out we have so much in common. We are thinking that it sure would be nice to go to a movie and have some dinner with this woman i see. But, usually we end up thinking to ourselves "well, someday my true love will find me, but not today". And away onto our day we go.. If a guy says hello, and you noticed him eyeballing you, if you think were cute, then say hello back and ask how ya doin. All we really need is some act upon the females part to be blunt, and just show an interest. I really believe since the world has changed so much, and people are so much more wary and cautious of a stranger, that true love may get passed by. Anyway, I appreciate a well dressed woman, whether it be professionally dressed, or to purposely catch a man's eye...or a woman's...but if I look, and I'm awestruck, please don't smack me or get mean. It's a compliment, and you should love the attention. I know, there is a fine line, but we are all not perverts...really we aren't/

Not in the Southern United States! There, “guy/guys” is still considered a male usage, reserved for addressing a strictly male audience in an informal setting. Using it towards or in reference to a mixed or all-female group will get the speaker some strange looks in return.

A long time ago someone very wise told me to ignore what people say and pay close attention to what they do. I didn’t think much about it at the time; I was young and still thought I knew everything.Eventually I met a man I thought was Mr. Right. I thought he was wonderful! He loved me and wanted to be a big part of my life, etc. etc. When I invited him to my annual Family Reunion he agreed to go and just stood me up. Never showed, didn’t call for days.We would arrange to do things together and he would just stand me up. Complete no-call/no-show. But he loved me, so I hung on. He said he wanted to spend time with me but he was so busy with work and things, but I would find out that he would get off work, do something near my house, and never stop by. When I would drop by his home to visit, he was visibly annoyed. He had too much to do to “visit.”This went on for several years. His words said one thing while his actions another yet still I hung on. Come to find out he had someone else in his life, that was far more important to him than me.I wasted years of my life for nothing. Be warned.
Why is it ok for women to wear men's clothes but men can't wear women's?
What the clothes thing boils down to is that in men's eyes, women's clothes make women look sexy and men do not want to think about other men being sexy by seeing them dress in women's clothes. In most cases, a man will be physically assaulted by homophobes if he is a "transvestite" or wears feminine clothes Alternatively...... It seems to be that names are the same way. It is OK to name a girl with a traditional boy's name, like Charlie. But it is inappropriate to name a boy Jane. This clothes and name phenomena is part of the masculinization of women in America. This does not happen on such a large scale in other countries. Men traditionally have more power in society than women. Names have much more power than clothes in my book. For example, if you are voting for someone that you have not seen and the Candidate's name is Charlie, you don't know whether the candidate is male or female, but you think it is statistically most likely a male. Most males won't vote for females because they are sexist. So, this is a way for women to gain more social power. Clothes work the same way. Alternitively, the clothes and name thing could be the result of a couple who has a child and they both, or just the man, wanted a boy instead of a girl. Then, the girl might be raised as a tomboy with a boy's name and clothes.
