As an American, no and I know better. Israel is not dependent on the USA, and our domestic politics being pushed by the far right are actually counter productive for Israel.But first: Israel has a pretty decent economy, one of the best ones in the region. They have a thriving tech sector with some very interesting startups. This sector could probably live without USA support just fine. Everything I understand is the quality of life is relatively high, and unlike some parts of say Mexico, is not dependent on its nationals sending cash home to families to keep the local economy afloat. USA markets are good, but I bet if USA spending dropped off, they could make up for it in other regions. They are not economically dependent on the USA.While on this topic, they are not militarily dependent on the USA for that matter either. The USA stopped selling arms to them? Some other country would fill the void without a problem.Politically, I don't think they are dependent on the USA either. They manage just fine, and they often vote against USA interests despite this alleged need they have for us. If they were dependent on us, they probably would not be doing that. I think there is a huge perception gap in this regard where people think because the USA helps Israel, they help us. Not true.And going back to my first paragraph, if I was Israel, I sure as hell would be leery of the USA and it's right wing Christian base. Any manipulation of the USA would be tempered against the reality that the Cheistian right wing believes in end times, which in the context of Israel means it is the location of the war to end all wars and bring about The End Times. There are some in the USA who would be 100% okay with this and would aid Israel just to bring about The End Times. The question for Israel is how to manipulate the USA effectively to get what it wants without overly empowering our home grown crazies.As a USAian, I know the premise of the question is false. i know egyptians say nope it's a lie and israelis say it's a fact..i ve watched many documentaries and saw red cross passing food and stuffs to our third army under observation of israelis and many other sources say it happened..i don't want a patriotic talk..i want facts,did it happen or not?,what's ur sources(reliable ones) and evidences of that....and if it was sadly true i wonder where were our strategic reserves,where were our generals when they let that gap open for israelis to pass and fight civilians and people of suez??
Job Application should I make a new category called OTHER: Arab American?
The "WHITE" category lists europeans, north Africans, and people of the Middle Easter as WHITE. Rightly so, many of us are Caucasian including myself. However, according to every single white trashionalist website I've ever visited, I'm a non-white inferior who has no right to exist. I'm of Arab American descent and don't want to place a check mark in "WHITE". I was born in this country and refuse to change my race just to suit people who wouldn't approve of me regardless of what I claim to be. I'm planning on just writing "OTHER: Arab American" as a category using Adobe Acrobat to alter the form. What do you think will happen if I do this? How will the company take this? By the way, if I'm white how come I have to apply to 3 times as many places as someone with an anglo saxon name? If I'm white how come I can't marry or date a white female? If I'm white, why do I have to experience discrimination when I tell people my ethnicity is Arab? When did I become white exactly? Because according to white nationalists, jews, Muslims, and anyone who is not specifically of european christendom or european atheism, despite skin, hair, and eye color cannot and will never be white even if they are ethnically european like the Chechens and Bosnians.
