Why Would Somebody Do This

Why would somebody add you on Facebook then delete you?

easy one - he just wanted to see things that you were hiding

What does it mean when somebody is in denial?

hey the first person who answered was reading my mind....lol I was also thinking of the Nile River....LOL It must be the time....
now for your question..

Some people have habits that are not good for them like
smoking, doing drugs, drinking too much alcohol...
they know it's bad for them to do this.....and people say to them you better stop or you are going to have bad health...but they keep on doing it....and they are thinking in their minds...
IT'S OK ....I WON'T GET SICK FROM DOING THIS...

so they are in the state of mind....called DENIAL

one more example...it's 2:20am....I'm looking at the clock my mind says turn off the computer and TV and go to sleep...but I fight it and think I can stay up longer I'm having fun.....and lack of sleep won't hurt me.....but....I'm in DENIAL...I'm not using good sense....I need to go to sleep and rest for my health...

Why would somebody use LDAP?

LDAP is a means of storing data in a hierarchical way.
Data records are stored as a set of attributes which are defined by sets of standardized schemes. These records can be accessed by using a protocol which has been implemented for various platforms. The access can be controlled by rule sets which apply to single attributes, records or whole trees of the database hierarchy. Databases can be replicated to several locations creating a fail safe and scalable environment.
All these features are necessary to create reliable data storages for very large environments.
Yes, you can achieve this by using a 'simple' database, but you will have to implement many of LDAP's features by yourself.
And doing so, you will create a non-standardized environment which will make it difficult to add systems to it.

If you only need a database on your home computer to store address data in it, a small database solution will be sufficient. But even here LDAP would offer benefits to you that your own solution would not provide. For example LDAP-enabled software can use your address data as soon as you have set up your directory server. Use Outlook or any other email software on the platform of your choice with your LDAP server to manage your contacts, use open office on any platform you like to access your address book for serial letters and so on...

Why would someone do this?!?

Sometimes my girlfriend cooks a whole package of hot dogs (frankfurters) and literally swallows each one whole without chewing. All 8 of them. No buns or anything, she just effortlessly swallows them all in seconds. She’s skinny and nowhere near overweight too. It doesn’t bother me but I don’t understand the purpose of someone doing that, instead of normally eating them. Am I missing something?

Why would somebody use baby oil before swimming?

I was at the pool the other day and someone in the change room was covering herself with baby oil before going to the pool. Why would someone do this, and wouldnt that harm the other swimmers, wouldnt it wash off anyway in the clorine? This is the first time I ever saw anyone do this.

Why would somebody constantly talk about death?

Death is the greatest mystery of all. None of us know EXACTLY what happens. There are hundreds of possibilities and for some people, that uncertainty can be unnerving. We are only here for a finite amount of time in these specific incarnations. There is enough literature, philosophy and spirituality to imply that these incarnations are supposed to have some kind of meaning. Yet some, dare I say most of us have little clue what that meaning is. Life can be absurd. All the dichotomy: light/dark, good/evil, pain/pleasure can leave one’s head spinning, wondering what’s it all for. Which inevitably begs the next questions: why? and then what? I would love, LOVE to be among those who are’t bothered living an unexamined life. I would either like to be infinitely enlightened or hopelessly oblivious so as to not be plagued with constant life and self analysis. Death is a very important part of understanding life.

Why does somebody want to kill someone for fun?

There are plenty of reasons, including the following:1) you simply don't like the person2) you thought it would be fun3) you have some mental problem 4) the person is what you would consider evil or undeserving of life5) you want an excuse to go to jail6) your a paid assassin7) you are afraid the person might get you into some form of trouble 8) you kidnapped someone and or raped them and you want to hide the evidence in fear that someone might find out9) you are defending yourself from them10) you are forced to by an outside force (e.g another person)11) your bored and need something to do12) you enjoy hurting others or the thrill of being in danger

Why would somebody say that Teslas are “soulless?” Does this fit with your experience owning or observing a Tesla vehicle?

Yeah, well, I’ve read some old stories cut from newspapers of the early 1900s saying the same thing about horseless carriages. But no way would I want to rely on a horse when I have a car that does the job faster, with heating and air, and in far more comfort.Electric is coming. You don’t have to like it. Internal combustion is inefficient and frankly archaic. Yes the IC engines of today are wonders of reliability, But compared to electric? Nah.And no I don’t own a Tesla. I own a Mazda 3. It’s a nice car. But I am well aware of the shortcomings of the thing.
