Why would you block someone?
. . . ENOUGH, this has gone on far too long. Youssef the only reason i posted this q here and in public was coz i couldn't reach you in any other means to clear any misunderstanding, however i was careful enough not to mention yr name, or shame you in any means. However, what you did, was totally wrong, judging people and their actions and deeds is not your job or any body else's "as humans we are full of faults". SO now that it is clear why you made this decision, all i can say, is good for you!!!! One last thing, in life try to look at people's good traits and ignore their bad ones. If you really care then try to change them but in a more decent approach. Thank you everybody and i apologize for dragging all of you into this. Salam

As soon as some one blocks you every information related to you is hidden. They can't see your dp, status and last seen. They can never send you a message nor receive from you. Unblocking you is the only way left for those who blocked you.But there exists one way that they may see your messages. You can create a group with you and the particular person as members and you can message there. Even then the person can't see your dp, status and last seen. Remember if the person blocks you even in the group there is no way that person can get your messages.They may unblock you sometimes to see you but you aren't noticed about that activity. All you need to do is sit down calm and chill.

I don't want to sound indiscreet, but when we have something to hide we make those stupid things, in that way you don't have access to his contacts or friends.

When would you block someone on Yahoo! Answers?
If someone blocks me then I block them. If I cant read their questions then I don't want them to read mine. I know this sounds a bit silly. My other reasons are if the questions are really disgusting or their answers on mine are nasty for no reason. This doesn't happen often. I have four blocked at the moment. Two because they blocked me because they didn't like my answers. One because he was really rude and the other because they were extremely nasty in an answer to one of my questions for no reason that I could understand. I don't like to block and I don't ever want to report anyone. But you never can tell in the future. I just want to have interesting fun. And when challenged state and stand by my convictions.
