Why Would Someone Start To Feel The Room Vibrate

Why can I sometimes hear and feel my ear drum vibrate with a high pitched sound?

This can be due to Tonic Tensor Tympani Syndrome. It is a condition related to anxiety that can drastically affect a person’s ability to hear. TTTS also causes the Distinctive symptoms of Acoustic shock, which develops after the exposure to an unexpected loud sound. It can also occur due to Hyperacusis. It is a hearing disorder which leads to increased sensitivity to certain frequencies and the ranges of volume of sound.

Why my room vibrates?

A large appliance of some sort or even plumbing can have such an effect causing vibrations but as you stated , that you have investigated other portions of the home and not found a source this would appear to be a mystery. I live in the Midwest, in Kentucky, and a few years ago I encountered a similar vibration followed by a rumbling sound. It would occur at just about any time of day and night and it really piqued my curiosity. I even went so far as to contact the city works department and the US geological survey and neither had an explanation. The city works department said there was no work going on in the area and none that would be occurring in the early hours of the morning and the Geological survey said they did not register any seismic activity as well so it was baffling to me . Then a couple of years ago I started to see stories from around the world of some strange noise being heard and as well a rumbling and vibration that was encountered and I recalled what I had encountered just a year before in my area. Though I could not correlate what I experienced to what others had I did find it quite coincidental. I'm not saying this is what you are experiencing and it could be something quite logical and explainable but I know how you feel to not be able to understand just what it is and I would not presume it is something paranormal at this point. I would go over your home once again and make sure that there is not a large appliance like a refrigerator against an adjacent wall kicking on it's motor or something and or perhaps plumbing causing it but If you can't discover the origins of it, you may consult with someone who may be able to help. Good luck and take care.

What causes someone to vibrate while sleeping?

It could have been that you were not really awake but were suffering from sleep paralysis. I have experienced this before, and it will sometimes seem incredibly real and frightening.

My downstairs neighbors play music so loud it vibrates my apartment,.?

Are there other tenants in the building with whom are also being bothered by these selfish noisy neighbors? Perhaps you can band together with them and complain together?

I would charge your batteries on your recorder or your phone, so you have a video and audio recording device. Wait for the noise to begin. Close your windows. Turn off everything in your apartment that makes noise. Place a lightweight plastic cup filled part way with water on your floor or other areas that you find vibrating. Record the noise and the vibration effects so you have some solid evidence of what you are forced to put up with.

In the meanwhile, write to your landlord through e-mail with your concerns about the noise and vibration that you are forced to contend with on a daily basis by the hands of the new neighbors. Send a copy of the video/audio recording. Explain that you rented your unit with the expectation of living in peace, not to be forced to be subjected to daily noise and household vibrations. And, if he cannot eliminate the offensive behavior, you will be forced to break you lease and expect your full deposit returned so you can leave in peace. Then, invite your landlord over during a time when all of this is going on and ask him if he would like to live in your apartment under these daily circumstances.

That is what I would do.

Why does my body feel like it's vibrating after lying down for bed?

Thank you for the question! I’m really interested in the answer!I know this feeling so very well! - but have no idea why it is like that.

Any ideas on why my bed vibrates sometimes?

I have a mattress and a box spring, that's it. No bed frame or anything else included, just the basics. I'm never asleep when this starts to happen and it only occurs every once in a while. Most of the time it will vibrate during the nighttime hours while in the day it's very rare. I don't live by an airport and there isn't any kind of construction going on near my house. I live in a fairly quiet area in a small city. I first noticed my bed will occasionally vibrate several years ago. It will only happen every great once in a while and it's nothing that is violently shaking, just lightly vibrating. I know it's not me because when this happens I'm always awake (usually getting ready to sleep but not even to the point of drowsy yet). I've gotten off the bed before when this happens and I will observe my cat who always sleeps with me. I can see him sleeping and due to him being on the bed during the time of vibration, his entire body shakes with the bed as well. I've taken him off before and I put a small bowl of water on the bed for testing, and you could see the vibration in the water. I've already considered and ruled out anything paranormal though I am always open to the possibility (I never close anything off completely). I am very empathic and sensitive to energies like that and I likely would have felt or acknowledged something. Has anyone else had this kind of thing happen? Any idea's on what this could be?

Why do the windows of my room vibrate when I slam my door?

In a tightly closed room the air pressure changes are trying to equalize and are quickly bouncing around the room and impacting the windows, making them rattle.Try opening the windows and slam the door, if the windows still rattle, the vibrations through the walls are shaking the windows when you slam the door.Same thing happens in a closed car.If you are frequently slamming the door because you are mad, try something to calm down.Read bimodal ebooks (watch & listen simultaneously ) , watch video’s.TenBookBucketList

Why can you still hear sound made inside the room when you stand outside of a room that has doors and windows closed?

This is because walls and doors and windows are not 100% soundproof in a regular house or building. Most standard wall construction in the USA, for example, are rated maximum of 40 dB to 50 dB noise reduction, on average.

Can a completely deaf person feel a person yell from across a room?

I’m not deaf but I have friends who are. They can’t ‘feel’ sound unless the sound has vibration, vibration which you yourself can also feel but are unaccustomed to noticing.A shout does not have a vibration unless they perhaps, lean down and press their mouth to a surface and shout against it and even then eh… I doubt any deaf person would notice from across a room. Even if they were touching the same object (a long counter) because the vibration energy would die away within a few inches, let alone 20 feet.Profoundly deaf people can often detect the bass beat in music, particularly it’s VERY LOUD and with a nice big speaker on or even pointed at the floor. They can sometimes detect someone knocking or kicking but that’s often due to their excellent ability to notice even tiny movement in their peripheral vision. One of my deaf friends can ‘hear’ loud thumps, bumps and vibrations up to several feet away if he is touching the object that is initially struck (think long counter again) but it would require a lot more than a shout, it would take a very hard kick for him to feel the vibration.
