How can I make my Moto G second generation phone connect to wifi?
Is it a home network or a bigger office/corporate network that you are trying to connect to?1. In a network, this might occur if the DHCP server cannot handle more devices and so cannot issue the IP address to your device. You need to check the number of devices connected to wireless router. If its too many, may be disconnecting one of them will help. 2. You may use a bypass. Go to the settings of Wi-Fi and instead of "obtain IP automatically", put a static private IP from the same range as being used in your network. For DNS, use the Google DNS 8.8.8.8. And gateway should be the same as used in your router.This works for me and should work for any device in any network.

If you tried the usual stuff found in guides and it all fails, try setting up your APN type.Go to settings, wifi and networks, more, mobile networks, APN, then choose your provider���s name, find the “APN type” and edit it to “default,dun” (not just “APN”, which is different and you should not change)SAVE the changes before closing the config!Hope it helps
Can I connect a wireless router to a wireless modem?
I have a two story house. The study is in the corner of the first floor and the smartTV I'm trying to get internet to is on the second floor in the opposite corner. Sadly, the smartTV cannot pick up the signal that the modem, motorola surfboard DOCSIS, is giving off. I have a wireless router, Netgear Rangemax, that I used to use. Is there a way I can leave the modem in the study room and connect the internet to the router in the other room? So far, the videos I've seen have involved directly connecting the router and modem via cable. If it's not possible, can you please give me solutions?
Why does Moto G need a 3rd party app to share files using WiFi-LAN, while Samsung devices don't?
Every Phone Nowadays SupportsWi-fi Direct(what you call file transfer over wi-fi). Even Moto GIt's just that the Procedure is a little bit Longer. and Samsung Provides a Graphical Interface for that which does not Exist on Stock Android(Moto G).The third party App(like Xander, SuperBeam) also uses Wifi Direct(via Wi-fi Hotspot).

Hello, I want to connect my wiii to internet wirelessly. The wii catches the signal of my neighboors but doesn't catch mine. I have the Motorola SB5101 and I thought it worked wirelessly, but, I'm now doubting. Could someone please tell me if this modem can work wireless? If it is wireless, then how do I make my wii catch the signal? Thku soo much!
How much data is required for the Lollipop update in Moto G 2nd Gen?
The Update itself was of 340 Mb. After update it took 40 mb additionally, probably updating the google play services. I did it on mobile network and the update was perfect. It took around 25 minutes to download and 25 minutes to update. The more apps you have installed, the more time it is going to take for update.
Motorola Surfboard SBG6580 Wifi issues.?
I recently switched to Comcast internet so I could get a better wireless experience than what I was having with Frontier. I purchased a Motorola Surfboard SBG6580, was pretty expensive. The wifi is pretty much worthless. Amazon fire stick doesnt hardly work at all, dropped signals on our phones and my sons laptop will not connect to it in the next room. I called Motorola and we tried switching the channel ect.. but nothing seems to help with this. Does anyone have any possible solutions? Is this thing just an expensive piece of junk? Please Im not very computer literate so keep it simple. THanks!
