Unless you purchase additional Accidental Damage Protection which covers is related to your computer caused by dropping , spillage, or any others damages caused to the computer due to your own neglect, THE ANSWER IS ABSOLUTELY NO. Automatically the repair technicians at HP repair facility will determine that all of the malfunctions you are experiencing with your laptop are the direct result of ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE caused by your mishandling of your laptopbecausee of the "crack" in you computer "shell" And, normal usage of the laptop in no way would cause the "shell" to "crack" in any way whatsoever, unless it exploded for some unlikely reason. So, if you accidentaldamagee your computer on your own, and the computer is not having problems due to faulty , worn, or defective parts, don't waste your time trying to get them to fix it free of charge...They willdefinitelyy charge you to repair that 'puter unless you bought the additional ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE PROTECTION. Also,Hap'ss warranty only covers it for 1 year , and only if youregisteredd it online or by snail mail within 30 days ofpurchasee from a authorized retailer or directly from HP. JOE ANN

See, the product you need the warranty information will affect some of the stipulations of the warranty. BUT... In general, it covers Manufacturing Defects. It does not cover accidental damage. So, if you cause the damage, then it is not covered. If the damage is caused by something HP did or did not do correctly, then they will cover it.
Does the HP warranty cover a broken screen?
HP warranty wil not cover for any broken parts. For example if u have a little scratch in ur screen they wil not take it for warranty. No way to cover it on warranty. It costs above $250. Depends upon ur model. Register in hp customer care wit ur contact number. They wil contact u within 48 hours
Will HP Factory Warranty cover Hard Disk Replacement for my laptop?
I have a 7 month old laptop that has a factory warranty on it. My hard disk has recently failed and needs to be replaced, would the warranty cover it? I know it does not cover accidental damage but the hard disk failure was most likely an software/virus issue.

I have sent a couple of Laptops in to HP for normal warranty repairs and have had an absolute excellent experience. Usually the process begins with you sending an email to the HP support team(LAPTOP_SUPPORT_EN@mail.support.hp.c... explaining the issues you are have with your computer. They will ask you several questions about the problem and ask you to perform a few troubleshooting test. Do the best You can in trying to perform these test, and after you have attempted these request without success they will start the process of bringing your computer in to their facility resolve the issues. One thing to remember is that when you do report and explain the issue/problem you are have you need to be specific and enumerate each and every problem you are encountering; they will only address/fix the problem you report. If you did register your computer within 30 days of purchase from an authorized retailer of HP products your warranty covers any problems you may have with this computer for a period of 1 year from the date of registration. You must have registered your computer online or by snail mail within this 30 day period for the warranty to be in force. The "standard" Hp warranty does not cover any damage to your computer do to dropping /spillage of liquids, or neglect on your behalf. If you paid extra for for an ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE warranty virtually anything that happens to your computer is covered , and HP will repair or replace it with a comparable model or the same if available or not discontinued. Once you have been approved for a repair HP will send you a prepaid box via FEDEX so that you can send them your computer free of charge. Once they receive it they will determine the issue and if it is not the result of your neglect they will fix and return it to you by FEDEX free of charge. If the damages sre determined to be due to you they will call you and tell you how much it cost before they repair it and get your approval($250-$350) It normally takes about 9 days for repair and return from my experience. Yeah it does if your warranty covers it. Warranties that cover physical damage are known as Accidental Damage Protection or Accidental Damage Warranty. Please note, physical damage due to intentional tinkering with the motherboard will void the warranty.Motherboards and other internal components of computer systems are usually covered under warranties which doesn’t include physical damage.
Does the HP warranty cover physical damage to a laptop's outer body due to overheating?
I guess they will repair if it's still under accidental damage protection. But, as far as i know HP is a piece of shit and they'll give you a lot of bullshit reasons why it's not covered under warranty like this is because of user mishandling and shit. So, you'll need to reason with them but i guess they'll finally repair it.
Will HP repair broken laptop screen under warranty?
Here in Hong Kong, the answer is never.HP international warranty also do not cover cracked screen.When it seems a backlight issue, HP support says that was a consequence of accidental shock in the luggage so not covered in their warranty. If the screen bezel lost a screw, they say it has been opened by others so not warranty covered.Warranty for most merchandise sucks in this planet. It is a sales gimmick rather than some solid guarantee.The owner still have to locate the repairman themselves.
Best Buy warranty on laptop...?
Probably not as it would be considered 'your fault' that your car flooded (dumb I know). It all depends on what kind of coverage you signed up for (when I got my computer I got 4 year coverage, so much so that if I throw a party and someone spills beer on my computer, I get a brand new one). Call best buy and ask.
My hp laptop is from abroad. How can I get a warranty for India?
No one can help you once you bought a product. But in case for your future experiences try buying products with International Warranty sometimes it can come for free or you need to pay petty amount to endorse it. While getting a warranty always remember there would always be hidden terms and conditions, also the risk increases when the products is bought from abroad.The service centres or customers desk will always prefer to give more importance to the products they sold as they are the one liable whereas product bought from abroad with International Warranty doesn't carry much weightage for them. Always try to buy products from the country you reside in rather than discounting money on high end products which would carry no attention for you when you need them.
