Will Aftermarket Wheeles That Were On A Ford Fit On A Cady

Will Chevy 8 lug wheels fit Ford or dodge?

Realizing that wheels and the axle flange mounting surface are two different things, I don't know how quite to answer this.In the truest sense of the question, if you were to take a Chevy 8 lug WHEEL and try to put it onto a Ford or Dodge axle with a different lug pattern, of course it wouldn't fit.If you're asking if you you can use a Chevy 8 lug wheel on another manufacturer's wheel mounting surface that has a different bolt pattern size, yes you can. There's aftermarket companies that make wheel adapters (SpiderTrax is an example), or you could get creative and do it yourself (if DIY inclined).Join a forum for the type of vehicle that you have. Post a "newbie" question and ask (no matter what type of vehicle you own, I'd suggest joining Jeep Forum - Jeep Enthusiast Network - we're the kings of modified mix and match parts).

Will jeep 5 hole rims fit on a ford explorer 5 hole?

Yes, they are the same bolt pattern...on my 97 the rears went on, but the fronts wouldn't clear the calipers.. so you will just have to try them..

Will Jeep rims fit on a Ford Truck?

It depends on the year of Jeep and the year of the Ford for instance the wheels of a 97 Jeep Wrangler will fit a two wheel drive 93 Ford but the fronts will not fit however the wheels off a 82 Jeep Wrangler will fit front and rear on a 74-82 Ford, the best way to determine fit is by measuring the distance between the center of one stud hole straight across to the outside of the other stud hole then measure the center of the wheel if these clear then you should look at back spacing but on your truck you should be able to accommodate a small difference in offset.

If Chevy/Dodge rims have the same bolt pattern as a Ford, will they fit on the Ford?

In simple terms, yes. Check that the spacing is correct to fit over break calibers (mostly anything over a 16in rim will) and wont rub the inside of the wheel well. If it is 4x4 also check your front locking hubs so that it fits over them, Chevy, Dodge, Ford, and Jeep trucks might have different sizes on these. An example, my 1974 Jeep J20 is the same bolt pattern and slightly smaller front hubs than a 2004 Chevy 2500, so they fit.

Which vehicles use the 5 x 4.75 bolt pattern on their wheels?

many modern BMW's. Lots of GM cars and light trucks - Corvette, Camaro, Firebird, Mid-Size Blazer, Jimmy, Caprice, Roadmaster, RWD Monte Carlo, 80's Regal, 80's Cutlass - Basically every mid/full size GM car from the 70's and 80's.

Can a modern car engine fit inside an old car? If it does, can it work?

Fitting the engine in won’t be a problem. As you noted, older cars are larger with plenty of space in the engine bay. The problem you’ll have is making the newer engine work in the older car. Newer cars have multiple sensors, computers, and subsystems for traction and stability controls, transmission controls, anti-lock braking, and in some Cadillacs, even electronic controls for the shock absorbers. The bummer part is that if you remove some or all of these subsystems, the engine management system may not function properly to run the engine normally.A better option for your purpose would be to buy what is called a “crate motor”, which is a motor specifically designed to be used in multiple types of vehicles. GM makes crate motors, and sells them through Chevrolet dealerships. Here’s one that might interest you:LSA Crate Engine - Race EngineThe LSA V8 is the same motor used in the Cadillac CTS-V, and if you add the “connect and cruise” option, it would be relatively easy to drop this motor into an older car.
