Will an intel i5-3470 bottleneck with a GTX750 Ti?
As the title states, I would like to know if the i5-3470 will bottleneck the GTX750 Ti, as I'm planning to buy one as soon as I earn enough money(in which I'm close to), But if you could suggest a better card that will still do fine with the CPU I have just very near the price range of the GTX750 Ti please do tell me. Thanks in advance~

To check if your cpu is a bottleneck, try this- While running the game, open task manager and goto Details section. Select the game process from there and set the priority by right clicking to realtime, If you see any improvements in the fps, than it's sure that your cpu is the reason. btw 80% is not such a big number, i think the reasons may include- insufficient cooling, restrictions by firmware or not running your pc on high performance power mode(give this one a try)

Yes, it will be a heavy bottleneck, especially in CPU-intensive games like GTA V, Ashes of the Singularity, etc. In Watchdogs, Hitman, etc, it won’t be as bad, but it’ll still be noticeable. You need at least an i5, or better, to eliminate the bottleneck. If you can’t afford that, you’ll have to turn down settings to get playable framerates, wasting your GPU’s potential, and therefore wasting your money.If you have absolutely no choice, I guess you can buy it, but, like I said, it’ll be a waste of money unless you upgrade the CPU too.Turning down the settings will get you good FPS, but the GPU will not be utilized fully, while the CPU would be stressed out. I’d really recommend getting an i5, even if its an older generation one. There is not much performance difference between a current gen i5 and an 3rd gen i5, like the i5 3470. You won’t even have to get a different motherboard or RAM to upgrade to a 3rd gen i5, and you won’t have to change the RAM either. Just get the CPU and GPU, and you’re good to go.Hope this helps. For most games, I’d say yes. If you are looking to do some 4K gaming or want 144 Hz frame-rates, then you might need more power out of the CPU/GPU combo.

That system will absolutely crush most non-CPU intensive games. Past a good quad core, there’s not much point in adding more cores, just making those cores clock faster. Problem is, your CPU’s not an Intel K series, and you also need a Z170/Z270 motherboard, so in the far future, your CPU might be a likely bottleneck.16GBs is enough to game AND multitask with Chrome tabs in the background, and the 1070 is known for high performance, only topped by the 1080, 1080 Ti, and the Titan X. If you’re running up to 2560x1440p, expect no holds barred graphics settings, but don’t be optimistic if you have a 4K display to run it on.

Is pairing up a gtx 750 ti and i5 3470 with a P8b75-m ASUS motherboard okay?
As the question entails, i need to know if putting a gtx 750 ti and an i5 3470 on the ASUS P8B75-m csm is a good idea. By that i mean is the motherboard good enough? I dont think i need to overclock since the games i plan to play are WoW, APB, and maybe Assassins Creed. Mainly just WoW. I also plan to use an evga 500 w psu to power all of this. Are all these components good and will they work well?
