How many signature does a petition for a teacher to be rehired need, to be taken seriously?

Hey, I am a student too and right now, lots of petitions are going around because some of our teachers are being 'let go' because the school cannot afford to pay them all due to the cuts and it's really not fair since most of the rubbish teachers are staying and good ones are leaving.

Honestly, 356 is quite a lot of signitures. It's good that you don't want to give up, that shows great motivation skills but trust me, petitions rarely ever work.

Once the school has made arragements about this kind of stuff, there's really not much you can do. I am sure many other schools will be lucky to have your teacher elsewhere and will appreicate him as much as you guys did.

What happen to the government employ when he gets suspended in India?

Getting Suspended in a Government Job in India is far different from Getting Fired from a Private Job.A suspended govt. employee will always be entitled for 50% of his actual salary throwout his suspension period. He will be required to represent his side of case infront of Investigation Committe. His suspension can be revoked and he can re-start his job.Once he is proven innocent, he will get all the balance payment (50% salary during suspension) along with all other increments, that may have implimented by government during his suspension period. If the decision of investigation Committe does not comes in favor of suspended employee, he is always free to approach any civil/Labour court, asking for a fare decision. The most of suspensions are time bound. If the employee choose to remain silent, he can resume his services after completion of suspension perion. And none of the above cases are applicable when an employee is fired in private job exept the option of approaching a Labour Court, thats to up to an extent as the defination of Labour in Indian Law is very complicated. One have to check first whether he would be qualifying to the defination or not. That why, the Indians are dying for government job. Youngs want government job for security of their future. Parents prefers Govt. Employees as their potentials son/Daughter In-Law and even agree to pay the DOWRY to associate with one.

What happens if you're caught driving with the wrong license plates?

Where I worked, this was called “fictitious plates or registration.” It was regarded as considerably more serious than driving without registration. If an officer found a car bearing plates registered to another car, his first suspicion would be that the car is stolen, because that is frequently the case. A smart car thief will steal a set of cold plates from a car of the same make and model, but most car thieves aren’t that smart. If you run the plates on a Ford and they come back to a Volkswagen, you start thinking, “stolen car.”If the officer thinks he is dealing with an occupied stolen car, he may conduct a high-risk stop, which is where everyone inside the car is brought out one at a time and proned on the pavement, at gunpoint. It will be an event you will not quickly forget.Less commonly, I would stop someone with fictitious plates, and they would tell me, “My plates expired, so I put these on it so I could drive it.” Having the wrong plates on the car might make it less noticeable to the cops, but the consequences of getting caught were considerably more grave. If you were driving a car with no plates or expired plates, we would write you a ticket for “registration required.” That was a $15 fine, and the court would almost always dismiss it if you got the car registered by the time you went to court. If you were driving a car with fictitious plates,The car would be impounded. The plates would be seized. You would get a ticket (or possibly be arrested) for driving with fictitious plates ($375 fine), and probably also for driving without insurance, because unregistered cars are seldom insured. The DMV would suspend the car’s registration, meaning there would be more hoops to jump through to get it registered. You might be on the receiving end of a high-risk car stop.Just get the car registered. It’s cheaper for everyone.

I got suspended from school for 5 days!!!!?

He was wrong, but what you did was way out of line.......you can be home schooled, change school, or maybe seek help to control your emotions. Btw I was bullied too, I don't know if I'm angry with them, or plain hate....but I RELEASED IT IN OTHER WAYS....crying? Yeah, ur a dude and maybe you don't wanna cry, but sometimes you really need to. Do it some place like in your room or a bathroom - turn the faucet on so loud so no one can hear.....So, in my opinion school has the right decision, and teachers are the sh*t. LOL Btw I'm 12 =)

Does Sean Avery have ADHD or is he just an ***?!!!!!!?

After hearing the story about Dallas Star's Sean Avery referring to his former girlfriend, and current girlfriend of Dion Phaneuf of the Calgary Flames, does this guy have ADHD or is he just an ***. I have ADHD and there are times I say things without thinking about the consequences, but at least I am intelligent and acknowledge when I say some snide comments that might get me in to some serious trouble. This guy doesn't seem like that bad of a hockey player when he keeps his mouth shut and just plays. He also doesn't seem like he is that dumb when he is level headed and not trying to start stuff. So what do you think?

Should Don Imus be fired?

What do you think? What are your thoughts?

Here are my thoughts. First off, he is protected by freedom of speech. This however does not make his comments right. But he should not be fired for them, it is basically saying that he does not have the freedom to say what he wants.

Second, he is not racist, a racist is one who feels they are superior to another race. His comments did not in anyway portrey himself to be superior to those girls. Are they racial remarks, yes! But until everyone comes out and says that rappers should be fired for making songs which are way more negitive against African Americans, then Don Imus should not be fired either, we should all be standing up for his right to speak freely, but making not that his comments were not well received.

Why doesn't Jesse Jackson come out and say he is sorry to the Duke lacross boys for his comments about them last year, wrongly accusing them of rape?
