Can I install Windows 7 drivers on Win 8.1 notebook?
User and CJ Hardy offer the best of good advice, if you want to keep Windows 8.1. CJ Hardy also suggests the free upgrade to Windows 10, which will automatically install (at least in theory) all the appropriate drivers, although Windows XP did have a nasty habit of not installing either WiFi or Ethernet drivers, necessitating my having a USB Ethernet dongle with me whenever I had to install/re-install WinXP, and Win98SE did the same thing ; no guarantee you won't have the same driver-failed-to-install issue on Windows 10. Buy an older model (USB 2.0) Ethernet dongle in case Windows 10 fails to install NIC or WiFi drivers.Frankly, I think it's better just to back up your data files and do an install of Windows 10. It's pretty decent software, even for a Microsoft product (sorry, I am a Linux evangelist). Epson 1400 series won't print different paper size with new windows 8 laptop?
My Epson 1400 printer won't print any other sizes then letter and A4. Im trying to print 11X17. It worked before new laptop. I have installed the software. Please help.
