Will Deleting Icloud On One Device .

Can you delete email on all devices by deleting on one?

Yup, if it's connected to the internet it should sync with your other devices.

When I delete photos off my iPhone will they still be on my iCloud account?

It depends how you configured your iCloud account.iCloud Photo LibraryIf you activated "iCloud Photo Library", when you'll delete photos/videos from your iPhone, those will be moved to the "Recently deleted" folder. After 30 days, those photos will be automatically (and permanently) deleted from iCloud, which I guess is what you’d like to avoid. If your real problem is the lack of space on your iPhone, then I'd suggest to activate "Optimise iPhone Storage":Open SettingsPhotos & Camera"Optimise iPhone Storage"This will replace some of your pictures and videos with lower resolution versions which take much less space on your device.iCloud BackupIf you did not activate "iCloud Photo Library", but activated iCloud backups, then the space used on iCloud is coming from your backup. The deleted photos/videos from your iPhone won't be included in the next iCloud backup, which means that they cannot be restored to a new device. My PhotostreamIf you activated My Photostream, then photos taken in the past 30 days will still be on iCloud’s servers even if you delete them from your iPhone.Like with iCloud Photo Library, as soon as those photos are more than 30 days old, they will be removed from iCloud and can’t be downloaded on other devices anymore. Please note that Live Photos and videos are never uploaded to My Photostream.Alternative to iCloudIf you want a solution that allows you to delete photos/videos from your iPhone, yet have them backed up and available remotely, then I'd recommend any of the 2 following strategies:1. Third-party Cloud storage solutionsAmong the most popular, you'll find Google Photos, Dropbox and OneDrive. The way this work is about the same:Install a companion app on your iPhoneGoogle PhotosDropboxOneDriveLog into your cloud storage accountManually upload all the pictures from your iPhone to the Third-party cloud storage serversActivate the automatic upload of new photos & videosDelete unwanted photos and videos from your iPhone 6s2. Personal Network Attached Storage (NAS)In this case, rather than relying on a third-party, you'll upload your pictures directly onto a hard drive that you control (and most of the time attached to your router at home). For more information, visit this answer: Damien Schreurs's answer to How can I back my iPhone data (photo/video) to a NAS drive?Hope this helps!

Can you delete photos from your iPhone but NOT from icloud?

Hey, all! So, I have zero available storage left on my iPhone 6s. I have around 500 photos, and I read that deleting the photos from the phone and backing them up elsewhere frees up a lot of storage. My only concern is that if I delete them off of the photo app on my iPhone, will they also be deleted from my icloud, or will they remain in one place but not the other? I ve tried looking this up and have gotten many conflicting answers.
Thanks! :)

How do I disable icloud without deleting files from my MacBook?

Same here. Icloud is great I guess in some countries where internet is very fast. I live in Indonesia and it’s definitely not the case everywhere. I am so pissed at myself for ticking that box in the first place. Hate icloud for doing that. The answers I read so far are still not satisfactory and would require a great deal of work / cleaning up in order to get the files back where they were before. If anyone has a genius idea, I am all ears. Thanks for sharing your experiences and tips.

How do you delete photos from iCloud?

Here I’ll assume that, by iCloud you mean iCloud Photo Library and by iPhone you mean “anywhere” on it.When iCloud Photo Library is activated, deleting photos from iCloud will delete them from the Photos app on your iPhone too.You could deactivate iCloud Photo Library on your iPhone, but then you’ll lose all the synchronisation features AND your iPhone needs to have enough free storage space to accommodate the download of your entire library. If you also activated “Optimise iPhone Storage”, then it’s definitely a no-go solution for you. Therefore, to achieve what you’re after, your only option is to move the desired photos:either to another appor to another cloud storage providerThe first option is OK if you have enough free storage on your iPhone too and is achievable with an app like Documents 6 by Readdle. With Documents 6, you can:Create a local folder for your photosNavigate to your desired Photo Albums from iCloud Photo LibraryCopy the desired photos to the local folderDelete the photo from iCloud Photo LibraryIf you don’t have much free storage on your iPhone, then I’d recommend to use Google Photos instead (you need to have a Google account obviously). With Google Photos, you can:Upload the desired photos to GoogleLong press to select itTap on the three dots (…)Tap on “Back up”Remove them from iCloudLong press againTap on the three dots (…)Tap on “Delete device original”Tap on “Delete”For more information about Google Photos, please have a look at those answers:Damien Schreurs's answer to Is there a way to save photos shared with me via iCloud to Google Photos?Damien Schreurs's answer to Are pictures uploaded to Google Photos private or can they be accessed by others?Damien Schreurs's answer to Is Google Photos a safe place to upload photos and videos as a backup?Damien Schreurs's answer to Can I delete my iPhone photos once they are uploaded to Google Photos?Hope this helps, otherwise, just leave a comment.

What happens when I delete an iCloud account from my iPhone?

No. Well that depends. Any personal information the cloud will keep but documents&data and photostream photos will be removed from the phone and you can apt to keep or delete content on the phone if you sign out of icloud on the phone. In fact it asks you twice to make sure if you want to keep or delete.

Any content on the cloud remains on the cloud after signing a phone off. The only way to remove it would be to have a signed in device delete it off of there device or you go to icloud.com and remove it manually.

If you're worried about privacy you should also sign out of messages and facetime and use your own Apple ID.

Two iPhones are connected with the same iCloud. What will happen if one of the iPhone’s contacts are erased?

So, here is how I understand the situation:You have two iPhones, both are configured to use the same iCloud account and having their contacts synchronised via iCloud. On your old iPhone, for some reason, you'd like to turn OFF the synchronisation of your contacts. So you've gone to "Settings" then "iCloud" then, for "Contacts", you've switched the toggle from ON to OFF.At that time, you've been presented with a dialog box at the bottom of the screen with the question "What would you like to do with the previously synced iCloud contacts on your iPhone?"You have two choices:Keep on My iPhoneDelete from My iPhoneIf you select "Keep on My iPhone", your contacts will stay on the iPhone BUT won't be synchronised anymore. And if you don't want them on your old iPhone, you'll have to manually delete them (all or some). If you select "Delete from my iPhone", all the contacts previously synced with iCloud will be deleted from your old iPhone AND nothing will happen to the contacts stored in iCloud and on your other iPhone. In both cases, the Contacts app on your old iPhone stops communicating with iCloud and the data on your other iPhone is safe. The clue is actually in the question; the part that says “previously synced iCloud contacts” hints at the fact that the link with iCloud is about to be removed.Hope this helps!
