Should i have to delete a friend from facebook because my girlfriend asks me to?
I love my girlfriend dearly but she is so jealous. Recently she deleted this dude from Facebook and I think she did it just to expect me to delete a particular girl. The dude she deleted used to flirt with her constantly but I never cared because he is from another country but she has known him since before we were together and has talked on the phone with him and such. She is so jealous of this one girl. I've been Facebook friends with her for like four years and we have never been anything more than that. She has never tried to hit on me even when I was single and has never made any inappropriate comments to me. She often comments on my statues and pictures but mostly the pics of my daughter and how cute she is but never anything flirtatious to me. I've never called her or asked for her number or vice versa. But my girlfriend just can't stand the fact that she comments and "likes" things I post. She has gotten to the point of asking me to delete her and I don't feel like I should have to tell a good friend of mine that my gf is jealous of her and I have to delete her. I would feel stupid and immature asking that. My gf is convinced that this girl is in love with me but I know full well she is not. I don't want my gf to think I am putting another girl over her but I feel she is being ridiculous about this. Should I have to delete her or am I in the right to say I feel I shouldn't have to? It is taking the fun out of Facebook and I'm almost to the point that I feel like just deleting my account.

In my hometown there are a lot of all boy and all girl schools, and I have the same problem meeting guys. I go to an all girl school, but I don't really use face book or have any other way to meet guys, so I use my friends. Some of them are friends with the guys that go to the all boys schools, so we go do things together as a groups. My friends invite them and I tag along. By the end of the night I usually give my number to a few of them and I start texting them and we hang out again ecc. Try using your friends for help, ask them to invite a few to a movie sometime or to a party or just over to one of their house, hang out as a group and get to know them from their, trust me it works!

You actually NEED to stop stressing out. The more you get jealous, the less cute shes going to find it. And then maybe she will go for another guy. It doesnt matter if she talks to other guys, you seem to still be the only one on her mind! so dont stress! If you guys are still going out, and its working then dont create an issue, it just makes the relationship go downhill super fast.

If it is what I am thinking, where it shows you two are in a relationship… BOTH of you have to switch that you are in a relationship with the other person. She might still have “single” listed, or have no relationship info listed at all. She may have no clue how to make the changes, or she might know exactly how and his hesitating because she is unsure as of yet. Like, “Why add him as a status before I know it’s going to last more than a month?”

She must be very paranoid and insecure..... If you want to push the issue with her then point out to her that if she doesn't trust you not go chatting up other women on Facebook then she has no respect for you and ask if she wants to terminate the relationship. Trust is an essential part of a successful relationship and if she cannot trust you then you have to decide what is more important. Facebook or her. Ask her why she wants to be with you, if she cannot trust you. seems ridiculous to me that she would want to be in a relationship with someone she doesn't trust, but there again i'm a fair bit older than 19-20......... You could agree to let her have your password so she can check what your doing on Facebook but that is an invasion of privacy and still doesn't deal with the fact that she doesn't trust you. You have to decide whats most important to you. If she doesn't trust you then she doesn't respect you can and you have to ask yourself, whats the point of continuing a relationship under those circumstances.... trust is essential in relationship in my opinion
