Yes, The Division has a single player mode. But there are some points to be noted before you buy and start playing the game. First of all, you'll need to be online all the times to play the game. This is because in the previous console generation, Microsoft put a similar system in known as Xbox Live Gold. This required players to pay for its subscription to play it online also with a few extra benefits. The PS3 had a subscription service as well. This was an early version of PS Plus that just had the free game benefits as well as a few special features such as exclusive avatars and the ability to back up saves online. It did not restrict any online access. Microsoft’s Xbox Live Gold service gave them a lot of profit despite playing on the PS3 being the better choice for anyone wanting to play online. They saw these profits and decided to make PS Plus give you online access because profit. As we can all clearly see, forcing people to pay a subscription to play online was all Microsoft’s fault and we should go riot at their doors. In all actuality this probably dates more back to the glory days of MMO’s where they insanely profited from subscriptions just to play meaning you buy the game, then pay money monthly to keep playing even when you own the game. Microsoft took from that and the rest is history.

I’ll give a list of what I can think of on top of my head; infamous series, bloodborne, Witcher 3, Darksouls, Monster Hunter World (does have an offline mode which makes little difference although friends are fun), Minecraft, call of duty campaigns, Last of us(highly recommended), Final Fantasy XV(good game if you like a little bit of anime style), uncharted series, SKYRIM (my fav RPG), Far cry series, Tomb raider series(they’re really good surprisingly), Grand theft auto V, Resident evil games( number 7 is pretty good), Fallout 4, Horizon Zero Dawn. Just DM me or look up online if you want me to talk about a game in more detail the only one in the list I haven’t played much is fallout maybe resident evil as I’m not a huge fan of zombie games I get too scared xD.

But you can still play them.You can play games offline, campaign or local.You can also, take screenshots and record gameplay.
