Will He Get My Text In Europe

How long to European men wait before texting or calling a girl?

There isn't a exact time he has to wait before he can call/text you, so expect the same from him than from any other boy...
He might wait a little so that he doesn't seem to be desperate or to like you to much, just like us girl do. I don't know how long ago you gave him your number but have a little patience, he will call you eventually ;)

My old college friends invited me to go on a trip to Europe, but give me the silent treatment in text messages and email. It's too late to back out. What to do?

Ellen, when that friend mentioned finding a good deal for a trip to Europe, was it definitively clear that this was in context of planning a "group trip"?   I ask because I'm wondering if this friend may have been thinking of having one or two friends going, instead of the whole group. (I just re-read your question and you say you were specifically invited...? Was it by the friend who brought up the deal?)Since you say you vaguely remember them doing this in college and it's also happened 4 or 5 times recently, it doesn't look good to me.  To me that's too many times. People don't typically give their friends "silent treatment" unless that friend did something to annoy or piss them off.  After any one of these episodes of silent treatment, did you ever ask them why?At this point, I'm guessing you're already at the airport or are on your way to Europe. In that case, do your best to keep things fun and light. You can save this until near the end of your week with them, and when the timing is right and your friends are in a receptive mood, you might want to ask them if their silent treatment is based on something you did or said. Tell them that you're not looking for an argument, but you genuinely want to understand why so that you can learn from this and be a better friend. Tell them that you're glad to have this chance to reconnect with them and you want to clear the air, and so forth.Like Laura Padilla suggests, it might be a good idea to be prepared to get your own room if necessary.  Be flexible about activities...if you get the sense that your friends need space, let them go off on their own and use that time to do what you really want to do. I hope you have a great week in Europe!

How did the US react to the rise of dictators in Europe and Asia in the late 1930s?

I do not think the Us actually took much notice of the rest of the World in the 30s,they probably were concentrating on the economy perhaps social unrest possibilities. In the early years of ww2 Hitler was probably seen as a European problem, needless to say as the German submarines got closer to US borders and to trade shipping, not disregarding war machine development, the eyes and ears perked up.The obvious staging point for an invasion of Europe was the UK,had this fallen, the States if alone in taking on Germany would find it difficult to find another launching foothold. There are references to the attitude of the Us military, there is a film citing a US Airman called Mitchell,in the 1920s he forcast the invasion and by Japan of Pearl harbour,James Stewart did the acting, got court marshalled got kicked out,for his belief the Airforce was lacking.Try Wiki sure there is a lot more there for you,ps do not forget the other dictator,Franco,he just about avoided being drawn in to Germanys war, though he did provide the Blue Brigade most of them died in Stalingrad. My uncle was one of the survivors, spent his later years having bits chopped of his legs because of frostbite.

Transatlantic Texting (Europe to America) from American Phone?

I can text from Europe to the United States with no problem. The problem I find is people texting back from the United States to Europe. When I am in Europe I always make sure that I have at least a tri-band phone or a quad band. Dual band phones do not work if you want to contact the United States from Europe and I do not believe dual-band phones work if you want to contact Europe from the United States. From what I pay when in Europe using a European pay-as-you-go provider I pay approximately $0.30 per 160 character text message, depending on exchange rates. My understanding is the cost is much more from the United States to text or call a European mobile. It might be that your boyfriend gets a tri-band or quad-band phone and uses a European SIM card while in Europe to save money on texting. However if he did then he would have to ensure that the phone would accept a European pay-as-you-go SIM card. Finally you might explore providers that have operations in both US and Europe like Virgin or T-Mobile. Finally worse case scenario he can buy a mobile phone in Europe for almost next to nothing that is tri-band and can get a pay-as-you-go SIM card for either free or at a nominal charge.

Is it illegal to read someone else's text messages without his/her permission and screenshot and show other people those messages?

I’m having trouble finding information on whether it is illegal to read someone else’s text message. It is illegal to read someone’s mail without their permission, but texts are a little different. It’s also illegal to hack someone’s phone or otherwise access their phone without their permission. However, if they gave you permission to look at their phone, and you then read their text messages, I’m not sure in which countries that would be illegal, if any. However, if you took a screen shot of their text(s) and sent them to other individuals, that is illegal in a lot of countries. It’s illegal in the US, Canada, most of Europe, and many other countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. It breaks Information Privacy Laws.Information Privacy Laws cover a broad range of things, but they include:Information collected by an individual cannot be disclosed to other organizations or individuals unless specifically authorized by law or by consent of the individualMeaning if you collect information on an individual (your friend’s text messages) you cannot share that information without their express permission.I’m not sure which country you’re in, but check to see if your country has adopted Information Privacy Laws. If they have, then sharing other people’s text massages is almost certainly illegal.Information privacy law - Wikipedia
