Will I Be Able To Attend A University

If I attend Valparaiso University in Indiana, will I be able to work as an RN in the state of California? Valparaiso University is accredited by CCNE. Does it meet CA requirements for licensure?

You asking this question on Quora and not understanding this is a guidance councilor question should clue you in to the fact that becoming someone who cares and treats other people’s health is not an ideal profession for you. I’d suggest retail.

How do I cope with not being able to attend the university I hoped for?

Be a big a fish in a small pond instead of a small fish in a big pond. You will shine more if you can stand out in a smaller university and you will have more opportunities than if you were average in your top school. Sometimes competition is not the best for bigger outcome. You choose how you’re going to react and your choice, the way you adapt yourself will make you a winner or a looser.Get awards and when the time comes for graduate school, doors will be open for the place of your dream. Would I be able to attend Stanford University on an AFROTC Scholarship?

I was wondering if I would be eligible for admission to Stanford University. I would like to hear from alumni and members of college administration boards. I am currently a sophomore (class of 2011) and last year as a freshman I ended the year with a 4.0 gpa while taking four honors classes and during my time on the frosh volleyball team and afjrotc. This year I have taken all four honors classes and gave a cumulative gpa of 4.0 and I am still involved in afjrotc in which I am an officer (captain) and in charge of self administration and assistance with the executive board, but the program is being dismissed due to budget issues. I am also on JV volleyball, red cross club officer and potential president, member of the National Honors society, the invisible children club, and I also have about 60 hours of community service (and counting). I have been recognized for various awards and three national awards, as well as afjrotc ribbons and scholar athlete, cadet of the month, and student of the month. Next year I am taking AP Biology, AP U.S. history and both honors clases for pre-calc and english. I also plan on joining the California Scholarship Foundation and Key Club along with the other clubs that I will still be involved in. I am also a new member of the Civil Air Patrol.

Are the ICSE students able to attend Anna University's counseling? If yes, will it be different from regular counseling?

The cutt off is set out of 200 every year, with 100 marks for math, 50 for physics and chem each. Since, you are talking about ISC, the marks in physics and chem will be converted from 100 to 50 each.ISC students can certainly attend the counselling if they submit the application by the deadline which is open for a long time. But not many students from ISC apply each year as the counselling system in Anna university is most suitable for Tamil Nadu HSC. So yes, it's regular, nothing different if you have studied in Tamil Nadu.

Are you able to attend a good university if your grades weren't so good in highschool?

I just started my second semester of community college and my first semester i did not receive great grades ( B and 2 Cs) and i didn't do well in high school. so was wondering if it is still plausible to be able to get into a great school if i get As from here on out? btw im going to school for astrophysics and the only reason i did not get the best grades in the past is because i was lazy but now i realize i cant be because my major requires me to go to a good school for the best opportunities in research and so on.

Will I be able to attend Notre Dame?

I am a freshman in high school at a private Catholic school. I have been thinking about colleges, and I really want to go to Notre Dame, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get in. I have a GPA of 3.96 and I am taking Spanish 2 and Honors Algebra and I am also class secretary. I plan on taking some AP classes in the future as well. I am in the music honor society and I plan on being in the National Honor Society and I want to audition for the spring musical next year. I am also on Varsity Swimming and will continue for all four years. I think I can probably keep my GPA up around the same level for all four years as long as I get all A's which I usually do.do you think I would be able to get into Notre Dame? What else can I do to help me prepare and be able to attend?

Am I able to attend universities like MIT and Harvard since I am not rich?

Absolutely. First, you must complete the FAFSA, which determines need with regard to the cost of college (for the first undergrad degree). If you have a family income of less than $75,000, and meet the competitive admissions requirements, MIT waives tuition. Harvard and Yake have similar programs; I think the ceiling is  $65,000. Keep in mind there are other expenses that must be addressed, but taking tuition worries off the table helps.I am not sure how, if at all, this applies to international students. You can read about those requirements at www.studentaid.ed.gov

If I don't speak French, would I be able to go to a French university?

To enroll in a French public university you will need to take a language test. It is unlikely you would pass with only high school French, even if you were in AP/honors classes.

I'm not really sure why you would want to study in France if you don't speak French. Studying in an English-speaking university will make you pretty much unemployable in France, and studying in France will make you pretty much unemployable in the US. Unless you have a really, really good reason why your university education needs to take place in France, you're much better off attending a US school (which will be much cheaper) and doing a semester or year abroad.
