Will I Be Able To Make A Copy Of My Sat Scores And Send Them To Admissions

Do colleges care about attendance? Will lots of missed days affect my admission chances?

Ive missed 20-30 school days each year (Im currently a junior) . I have an excuse for sophomore year. I think attendance is on my transcript, my grades are good enough to get into the colleges I want . If my ACT/SAT scores are good, I m fairly confident Ill get in but now I m worrying about my attendance. Will I not be able to get into a decent college now?

College says my sat score didn't send?

Call the admissions office. It's possible that they received your scores, but didn't associate them with your application. This can happen if your name on the SAT is not exactly the same as how it appears on your application... for instance, if one says Katherine and the other says Kate; or if your last name is Brown-Smith on one, but Brown Smith on the other. If there's even a slight difference, the college's computer can think it's two different people.

Sending scores late to NYU?

No, NYU has a hard deadline of Jan 1 for everything, so your feb or march scores will not be counted with them.

However presumably you applied to some other schools as well, and some of them may allow feb or march scores to be considered. just make sure you prep thoroughly, because colleges do not like to see retakes without clear improvement.

Worried that SAT scores will reach colleges late?

On December 30, I realized I needed to request scores from College Board to be sent to my schools. Most of my deadlines were January 1, and I got all my applications, payments and supplements in on time, but the scores will definitely get to the college after the deadline. I used College Board Rush Delivery (I know it was a bad call, but too late). My college counselor said that the scores would just catch up with my application so it would be fine. Is this true> Am I fine?

Do I have to wait until I get my SAT Score before applying to colleges?

You can begin to work on the common application as soon as it is released for use, generally in August. Some schools may not use the common application or coalition application but their own instead. These schools’ applications should also be oniine and may have different start dates for submitting information. You don’t have to complete an application in one sitting.Putting an application together is like assembling a jigsaw puzzle. You do what you can do when you can do it. The people you ask to recommend you will do what they do when they do it. You will need to submit a copy of your official transcript from Turn Credentials Into Opportunities | Parchment When the College Board releases your test scores, you will have to contact them and ask them to release the scores to the schools you choose. When you register for the SAT exam, you have to option of identifying up to four schools to release your scores to for free when the College Board releases the scores to you. Some college counselors recommend that you look at the scores first before you release them to a college or university. However, if you son is taking the SAT for the first time in October and he is a senior, you really don’t have the option to retake the test (after you get your test results in November) and get a second set of scores in on time for schools that have a January 1 deadline for applications.I would recommend that you confirm with the schools you submit applications to that your applications are complete before the deadline for submitting applications. If nothing else, it will provide peace of mind that you have done everything you can do.
