You can use the following method for Android phones having Mediatek (MTK) chipset and root access is also not required.Download and install either Mobileuncle Tools or MTK Engineering Mode Android app.In some Mediatek Devices MTK Engineering Mode is pre-installed. You can open it by dialing *#*#3646633#*#* from their dialpad.Open app and go to Engineer Mode > Engineer Mode (MTK) for Mobileuncle tools and for MTK Engineering Mode app go to MTK settings.Under Connectivity tab go to CDS Information and then Radio Information.Now select Phone1 or Phone2 for the respective sim slots you want to change IMEI for.Now you will see a command line with AT+ written there.Now if you are changing IMEI for Phone1 then enter AT+ EGMR=1,7,”new 15 digit imei no” with quotes and click on Send Command button. (Don’t forget to add space between AT+ and EGMR)In the similar way you can use AT+ EGMR=1,10,”new 15 digit imei no” command for Phone2.Now you can check your new/changed IMEI number by dialing *#06# .NOTE : Note down your previous IMEI number before changing it to a new one so that you can reset it later. And perform this method at your own risk.
