Is Whatsapp charging me for texting internationally?
I've been texting a friend in Europe using the iPhone application Whatsapp and I'm pretty sure it's free to send text when I'm connected to wifi. My only question is when I'm NOT connected to wifi and I send a text through Whatsapp, does it charge me as if I were sending an international text message? Or does it use my pre-paid 3G internet to send the text? I went to the site and there was a Q and A that asked "Is it free to send international texts through Whatsapp?" and the answer was "it's free just like sending an email internationally is free." I think that this is talking about when I'm connected to wifi. I also called AT&T and asked and they said that there were no international texting charges on my bill. I just want to triple check.

Hey guys, I was just wondering if T-Mobile charges for INCOMING international calls and text? I do know that it will just eat up my minutes unless it's after a specific time and on weekend, but will I get charged?

Kik messenger uses a wi-fi or Internet connection (your data plan) in order to transmit messages -- much like iMessage for iPhone/iPad users. If you are seeing unknown international messages on your phone bill, call your cellular provider immediately and be sure you have a copy of your statement -- the earlier they know about the problem, the easier it is for them to resolve it and show a record of it. This will help your service provider and you to quickly identify the numbers and messages in question. Remember, due to FCC regulations, many service providers will not be able to tell you the phone number unless you first mention the phone number in its entirety.
Will Sprint charge me? (international calls)?
Okay so i am currently on the Sprint unlimited calling and texting plan however this does not include international calling or texting. So my question is if my friend calls me from Mexico (i live in the USA) will it charge me even though it is an INCOMING call?? I have read about this a little online and it says that if the international call is an INCOMING call then it won't charge you for international calls it will only use your minutes. But since i have unlimited calling and texting (does not include international) would i even get charged per minute? Thanks!
Does T-Mobile (USA) charge for incoming international calls?
I think incoming calls are always free in your home calling area, if you are on an unlimited calling plan. If you are not, the incoming called would be billed the same as a domestic call. Roaming without a international calling plan is a different story; you are charged for both incoming and outgoing calls.

I have an international plan with unlimited text and calling to Canada and Mexico. It is a USA number. will people people from those countries who text me be charged the international rate?

You won't get charge for any calls or any long distance fees if you are calling anywhere in the United States. You would use only your monthly minutes for the call. Your monthly mintues are deducted for how long you talked on the phone since you are calling to Hawaii.

i have sprint unlimited texting also and have family in flordia and i text almost everyday it doesnt cost me anything
