Since you know the country, you can know whether the child is being raised to hate Christians or whether he/she is being raised a moderate. For instance, Iran is teaching from the age of 7 to hate by their public school system while Lebanon is teaching moderate Islam and due to the backlash against Hezbollah, Islam's extremists are reaping a bad reputation. Were I the one supporting this child, I'd consider whether or not the child I am paying to support is being taught appreciation of my gift to them or whether they are being taught to consider my philanthropy foolish. If you're still bent on picking the religion to support, you can stipulate in your contract with the organization who you will support. I would pick a different organization, like 'Feed the Children' which is a Christian organization and have similar agendas to your own. I think your reticence is justified on the basis of what they're being taught. Not on the basis of their birthright. If you are not prepared to research this, then politely bow out and find a Christian based organization to support. You're still not going to be able to pick on the basis you stated. If you want to minister to the people of that religion specifically, you should check out K.P. Yohannan's ministry. His organization is not about food for the body as much as food for the spirit, but the people they support can correspond with you about this region and its people with a great deal of knowledge. Many rich Muslims perform the Haj many times in their life time. Will it please Allah more if they pay for their poor fellow Muslims to go instead?
Infact they do. A LOT!Islam is not like the western society where you do good/help others and everybody is aware of that. Its Haram to do good/help others and go around telling the world. In Islam, when you do help others, you dont tell. Leave it between yourself and Allah. Many rich Muslims around the globe sponsors the poor to Hajj but you never know because they dont talk about it.And I mean A LOT of rich Muslims sponsors those without the finances, to go to Hajj. In my Country, in my own knowings alone, I know quite few people who have sponsored not just one person but a 100 every year to Hajj. A 100. You only know such acts when people are describing the doer of his genorisity and kindness.

I’m born a Muslim but I consider myself to be an atheist. The main reason you see very few people leaving Islam is because there is a death penalty for it. How do you convert to Islam? You speak a few words and you are done. How do you convert from Islam? You say to yourself that you no longer believe and you are done. That’s it.The fact of the matter is that people who convert to and from religions are negligible. If you go to Youtube and you search for “coverts to Islam” you’ll see several pages of people telling their story and why they converted to Islam. If you search for “why I left Islam” you’ll see several pages of people telling their story on why they left Islam.In general people who convert to and from a religion are about equal. Islam is not growing because people are converting. Islam is growing because Muslim women have more babies. In fact no religion is growing because of conversion rates. Perhaps secularism because it would seem that the more stable a country is, the more educates people are, the less religious they get. That seems to be the trend. The only exception being the US.
Do extremeist muslims hate China??
China is NOT an imperialistic power, hasn't been for centuries. They understand that imperialism is a no win situation. They get what they need through a free market system (oil from Africa, etc) and don't shove their values on others. Many in the middle east hate America because we are indeed imperialistic. Case in point: China has made a pledge to the world that they will not attack a sovereign country. Obviously, the USA has made no such pledge. Case in point: China has also said they believe in a countries right to self determination. Again, we fail in that regard. Case in point: According to a 2006 congressional study, we sell 39% of the worlds trade in arms. Some independent studies put that at up to 60%. In that same congressional report, China sells 3% Case in point: We have our military presence in 135 countries. China, the country the west loves to hate has their presence in one, China and its autonomous regions. They have no military presence in N Korea or Vietnam. Case in point: In the last 40 years China has invaded one country. Vietnam, and that was done after repeated warning because Vietnam was causing a lot of trouble on their southern border. China went in, spanked them and left, in total, one month to the day and said in no uncertain terms they'd be back and do it worse if they screwed with them again. We stick around and shove our values, our system of government and occupy for decades at a huge cost to the taxpayers, our world standing, and lives. NOTE: Tibet is not considered soverign by any country, the UN or the Dali Lama himself. China has 3 autonomous regions (we call ours territories) and they have a right to put down rebellions in as much as we do and we have done so in the past. Therefore, who is the worse, China or the USA? Be honest. I live in China as an ex pat and this area has a lot of Muslims. There are mosques here also. The Muslim people are very active in local commerace here. Why does India kowtow to Pakistan even though they sponsor terror on Indian soil, when Israel can give Syria and Palestine the treatment they deserve? Is it because Indian politicians are afraid of losing Muslim votes?
This is not as simple as it sounds! Terrorism usually is just a symptom of an underlying serious issue. If you look at Israel it was created by stealing Palestenian lands although jews claim they lived there 5000 yrs ago. I can also claim my ancestors lived in Qatar 5000 yrs ago so hand over all the Qatar gas to me alone. On stolen lands in various wars they kicked palestanians out of their homes and lands. So what do you expect all palestenians will shout peace. Some of them will resort to violence and terrorism to gain their rights back. Unless Justice is done Israel will be dealing with terrorism violence or what ever you want to call.Now to the issue of Terrorism India faces is not just related to Pakistan. This is a legacy of partition. By religion Kashmir should have gone to Pakistan but came to be part of India because of its hindu maharaja. So there are Pakistanis of Kashmiri roots for whom this is a heart piercing issue. On the plus side India did not abuse its rights. For exampe India gave Kashmir to kashmiris, it did not kick out kashmiris from Kashmir or say settle other Indians to Kashmir like say how China did in Xinjiang by claiming to unite it by settling Han chines on Xinjiang lands!So India to some extent did not do injustice. Now settling it really needs India, Pakistanis and Kashmiris to sit together and resolve this issue for ever!! By the way nothing to do with muslim votes. Most Indian muslims want Kashmir to be part of India! They even want Pakistan and Bangladesh to be pary of India. In their opinion partition of India itself is totally unwarranted.Muslims live in every little nook and corner of India so what was the reason for partition! Only God knows! Muslims could have kept some autonomy rights in their majority states while still being part of beautiful India. Terrorism is just a symptom of the root cause Partition of India in all weird way!!India does have legitimate rights over all of Indian sub continent. Unfortunately Israel is all built on stolen lands using colonial mindset of kicking out poor people. So do not compare!!
How many Muslim countries will help?
Few to none. In the case that a non-Muslim is in dire need of help, is a Muslim rewarded for giving him charity? Answer: Charity to a non-Muslim in need is allowed, and the giver of this charity is rewarded. However, a Muslim cannot give his Zakat to a non-Muslim unless it is hoped that by receiving help, the non-Muslim might decide to accept Islaam or at least to refrain from harming Muslims (when he has a reputation for harming Muslims). Nothing happens severe as people might be expecting for some weird answers. The thing is the local police will interrogate you for the cause of entering the holy place even being aware of it. But if a person enters without knowing it then the person just need to prove it. They'll check for your identity that since how long you're living in Saudi Arabia, they'll contact your sponsor and they may ask your sponsor to come to the place and pick you up and make sure that this should not be repeated.In this case if your sponsor supports you then you're out of trouble, If he didn't support you and if he submits that you have ran away out of his knowledge or you're no more under his custody, You'll be sent on final exit to Your nation from nearby Airport (Jeddah or Madina).Note: In any case, they always contact your sponsor to get all the necessary information.
