Who do you guys think can beat the anime character Haruhi Suzumiya?
Dude,I've been answering these anime fans for years,and my,they always thought that Haruhi is somekind of a god that cannot be defeated,just because she can warp realities. To Amanda: Do you know D.C.characters such as Pre-Crisis Spectre,Mr.Mxyzptlk,Emperor Joker,Lucifer,Michael,Original Ion(Kyle Rayner),could actually be more than a match to Haruhi? And lets not forget we have Franklin Richards,TOAA,The Living Tribunal from the Marvel Universe that can do more than just wiping Haruhi from existance before she even knew what hits her? And I don't see their fans kept on harping that how these characters could actually become the most powerful comic character ever.Seeing that Firelord(Herald of the Galactus) defeated by friendly neighbourhood Spider-man and Gladiator defeated by Cannonball,we all came to realize that anything can happen in the comic book universe,because the writers are the real "reality warper" to the comic-book universe. So,if there are crossover between Haruhi and any other anime or comic-book characters,the writers will let their fans to decide whether Haruhi Suzumiya or any other character will win,by a mean of voting. To answer your question,I think that many D.C and Marvel character that can defeat her.Mr.Mxyzptlk(Earth-One),Emperor Joker,from D.C.universe could easily trump over her.And from Marvel,I think that Franklin Richards is on par with her reality manipulating powers. P/S:To any Haruhi fans,if you think her powers are "Godly",I suggest that you try to read D.C/Marvel comic books where there are many comic characters that have similar powers to her,if not more powerful.
Why do comic book movies tend to make so much more money than dramas and comedies?
Currently, comic book movies have been made with great care and careful attention to plot and inter connectivity we have not witnessed. The MCU in particular has taken the concept of the tv series, and applied it to a movie series almost 23 movies I believe to create a continuity never done before.Drama movies suffer from several problems. One, it is a common phrase “I hate drama” in our every day lives. Why do we wish to be subjected to something that pulls on emotions we are trying to escape from our daily lives. I am not saying drama is without merit, take the King’s Speech for instance, fantastic and historical drama. Yet many other drama’s are exercises in futile tugging on our emotions, to me that is not entertaining. I want to forget my problems and watch the Avengers fight Thanos, not make me feel bad for some paralyzed guy who is rotting in his bed and no one in his family cares about him save the fortune he has.Comedy is crap today. Innovation or even a renewable to when movies could be funny without being over the top vulgar or just pure stupidity are rampant. Why? Comedies are insanely cheap to make when compared to a Marvel movie. Watch really old comedies like Arsenic and Old Lace, it is comedy gold in black and white and the nuanced humor is witty and well crafted. Watch Smokey and the Bandit, classic humor. Granted, time changes curse words are the norm, but it still comes down to great writing which few comedies bother to do. Look no further than the Hangover to see a well written comedy.Say what you want, but the ticket price for a comic movie is the same for a drama and a comedy. What is clear is the investment of the Marvel movie versus the other two. You get what you pay for. So by the dollar, Marvel is giving you more bang for the buck, literally.
