Will I Receive Paternity Results In Mail Before Scheduled Court Date

Father refuses paternity.... Please help me?

Im 7 months pregnant and the man i know to be the father is going to fight at all cost to get away without paying child support... he says he is going to refuse a paternity test and if i take him to court he'll say i was sleeping around with several different guys. What's really worrying me though is a month after our son is born he will be leaving for boot camp and probably be sent overseas after that. How would i be able to take him to court if he's in the navy?

Writing letter to judge to reschedule court date?

When you address your letter:

Dear Honorable ,

I am writing this letter to request a new court date. I am sure the court hears plenty of excuses however I am dedicated to insuring I am in compliance with the courts orders concerning my probation.

Unfortunately, in the process of moving from my mothers to fathers home the excessive stress of the move caused a lapse in memory of the correct date of my hearing before the court.

In my negligence I thought my court date was on the docket for but instead it was

I pray the court will consider that I am not attempting to avoid the responsibilities placed upon me by the court and allow me the opportunity to obtain a new date.

Respectfully,

You have one problem...the court has already issued a warrant for your arrest for the probation violation and failure to appear. Your options are slim. Good luck!

When will I receive meps results in the mail?

I just want to know if I should expect a letter in the mail saying that I am good to ship. If so how long will it take before I receive the letter. I completed meps on 2-13-15. Also if something went wrong such as, something in my medical records, blood/urine test, will I get a letter first or will my recruiter inform me first?

What does paternity order issued - DF biological father ( stipulation) ?

Going by the dates, and explaining them in order:

10/10/2012 He was ordered to show up at court
10/10/2012 His employer was ordered to provide the court with a record of what his earnings are from work and whether or not he has health insurance through his job.

11/9/2012 He was ordered to show up for court again

1/28/2013 The court ordered him to take a paternity test. The stipulation is that if he is found to be the father, other court action will be taken.

1/29/2013 An order was sent to attach his unemployement benefits to support the chld in question ( The man in question must be on the birth certificate or the mother and father had to have been married for this to be in place. Biology at this point doesn't necessarily mean the one listed on the BC doesn;t have to pay child support until paternity is proven through DNA. The law in the state where this is being litigated may take into account maritial status and whomever is on the BC)

1/29/2013 there was also a wage garnishment issued to his employer

2/5/2013 I *think* this means the order is temporary until the paternity test comes back, BUT I am not sure about that

2/11/2013 The defendant's employer is ordered by the court to stop witholding

2/20/2013 The defendants employer is ordered by the court to begin witholding

And the last one means the Defendant has filed with the court to change the terms of child support already ordered.

All these actions depend and are a result of testimony that was entered into the record during the court conference. They don't make a lot of sense unless you know what the testimony was.

I missed my court date today for driving without my license. What should I do?

You will have to contact (possibly in person) the clerk of court, and ask for a new court date. They will schedule a new date.

Be very careful until your new date. Their most likely will be a warrant for 'failure to appear', which the clerk of court can do nothing about. Do not ask a police officer to 'check' and see if there is a warrant, because they will be forced to arrest you.

Just schedule a new date, and don't get pulled over.

j5 has a very good suggestion. This may prevent a warrant.

Does Planned Parenthood provide paternity test? If not, where can l go/do to get one?

My ex-girlfriend recently contacted me and told me l might possible be the father of her 3-year-old son. Why she waited so long to tell me l don't know, but if he is mine l want to be in his life. Only one problem, I'm currently stationed in Fort Riley, Kansas (Active Army) and was deployed for most of his life. Problem number two He lives in New York with his Mother. Here is another problem the Army(My Chain of Command) wont let me do anything until l have proof that he is in fact my son. Once again another problem, l need to provide a paternity test as proof. My Platoon Sergant said PLANNED PARENTHOOD will possible do it for free or little for nothing or point me in the right direction. Is there anything l can do from Kansas to get the ball rolling. Maybe plan a appointment, Send money for Home paternity test, etc... I dont know what to do please help!

Can a paternity test be wrong? My son is the spitting image of his father and the result was 0%.

Yes. A Paternity test can be wrong. If the samples was logged into the laboratory incorrectly is one possibility but most likely not the case. Accredited laboratories have a very strict and efficient process of the intake and handling of DNA samples. This is not to say an error could not occur but the chances are very small.Another possibility is the facility where your samples were collected mishandled your samples. If the collection was performed correctly the participants should have witnessed the sealing of their samples.Another possibility is the child could be what is known as a chimera. A chimera in the scientific sense is a person that has two different DNA . In other words, the person would be its own fraternal twin lodged into one body. The term Chimeras can also be used when describing people who are A/B blood type.In order to find out whether a child is a Chimera you will need to find a genetics lab that performs this type of chimera identity test. It is important to note, DNA Paternity Labs from my understanding can Test for Paternity if a one party already knows that a participant is a chimera. But, without this knowledge your DNA samples will be analyzed as usual which is according to the labs protocol.Nonetheless, I suggest you do some research if you believe the child maybe a chimera.Another possibility is epigenetic imprinting. Basically, when the environment influences the DNA. What is not spoken about much is a mother may fancy another man who is in her presence very often and she may not have been intimate with this man but she may privately wish her child had this man’s qualities. Of course this is assuming the mother is aware she is pregnant. This type imprinting from the mother to a child I have seen happen quite a bit in the last 13yrs.Last, possibility is the mother slept with two men within 3–5 days of each other where the other man who she may not have taken as seriously sperm was stronger than the man who she was in a serious relationship with. Hence, the man she was not in the relationship with may have similar features to the man she is in the relationship with.I hope this was helpful.

How long does it take to start receiving child support?

This basically depends on a few factors:When did the judge/magistrate order the child support? Is the child support paid online, withdrawn from a paycheck, or paid through the mail? Processing of online payments usually takes 2–3 days from the date that the responsible party makes the online payment. Paycheck withdrawal should mean that your amount paid will be in your bank account on the date the other party gets paid. If paid via mail, it may take 5–7 days from the date he other party mailed the payment.Remember that a child support order doesn't not mean the other party will pay. If you do not receive a payment by the middle of a month, you can contact your lawyer to escalate the issue. Not paying is contempt of court, but that can only be charged if you file those charges with the court system.

Child Support Letter about a Child thats NOT mine!?

So I got a letter in the mail saying I need to go to the the Attorney General's office in San Antonio Tx and I live in Ft. Worth Tx. Its from a woman I have never heard of nor a child I know nothing about. They gave me a number to call but it is the weekend. So I will be calling them Monday morning. My questions are 1. How can someone ask for child support when the child is NOT mine nor do I know them. 2. Is there anyway to look up this info. Online. And 3. Should I be worried about this or is it a scam. I know a lot of people say "That's not my Kid" and etc. But like I have sayed I do not even know any woman by the name given. And my last Question is how or why would I hav e to travel 4 or 5 hours away to take care of some that is not mine and why would I just now be finding out about this if the child was born almost 5 months ago??..

Other facts---- 1. The letter states I can go to the Child Support Review Negotiation Conference scheduled for 2 weeks away.

2. Again I live 5 hours away from where this is.

3. There is no other info. Other than the womans name, and the childs Birthday and name.

4. I'm happily married ( 5 years with 2 kids of my own..

5. They give me a "Case #"
