Will Insurance Cover Me

Help!!! Will insurance cover me?

I once did this. The lady had done a home pregnancy test that indicated she was pregnant, but hadn't been to the doctor yet, and wouldn't be for a couple of weeks. They had no life insurance, so I wrote a policy in the amount that they wanted. (this was life, not health, insurance) We got it underwritten and issued before she went to the doctor's and "sure enough" found out that she was officially pregnant. It would not have affected her ability to get life insurance, but if her family had a history of pregnancy disorders, it MIGHT would have rated her premium slightly.

On health, you'll need to see what the dates are for "preexisting conditions", and read the policy to see what the coverages are for both physician AND hospital. That's not something you can find on here. If you took out the policy on March 20th, with a 90 day pregnancy waiting period, chances are there are no coverages on this policy.

Will insurance cover me if I go to my chiropractor?

I screwed my back up at work when I tried lifting something that I was trained to lift by myself, and then after I hurt my back, our saftey guy said I couldn't get workmans comp because I should have asked somebody to help me lift it. What a crock! And my insurance hadn't kicked in yet at the time, so I had to pay out of pocket for the chiropractor, and I determined it wouldn't be worth doing it at the time, so I waited until I could get into an easier job, and after I got an easier job my back didn't hurt so bad, so I put off going to the chiropractor, and now it's been 3 years, and my back still hurts off and on, so I need to get it fixed.

At first I went to the chiropractor and just got x rays and one adjustment, and cancelled my next appointment, and said I wanted to wait until I got insurance, and they said that insurance might not cover it since I've had x rays done.

But what I'm wondering is, if I go back to the same chiropractor now, will my blue cross blue shield not cover it since I had x rays 3 years ago? will they find out about that and deny me? If I go to a different chiropractor will they find out? What should I do? Go back to the same chiropractor because they'll be able to compare my back now to how it was 3 years ago, and risk insurance not covering it, or go to a different chiropractor?

THANKS! any answers are greatly appreciated here!

Will my auto insurance company cover my claim if the person driving has a suspended license?

In the US, under a standard Personal Auto Policy, with respected to suspended or revoked licenses, the insurance company may cancel a policy if any of the following are true:the policyholder’s license has been suspended or revoked, orthe license of anyone living with the policy holder has been revoked or suspended, orthe license of anyone customarily using a covered auto has been revoked or suspended. But that refers to the insurance company’s right to cancel. It does NOT refer to any right to refuse coverage of a claim. Bottom line, if Bubba just lost his license, borrows your car and gets in an accident, coverage applies.Possible “gotcha:” If you know Bubba has lost his license and you routinely allow him to use the car, the insurance company might regard this as fraudulent act and refuse coverage. Big court fight, over that, if you’ve got the money.Hope that helps.

Will my insurance cover me when driving in europe?

If you are in the US, no, your insurance will not cover you in Europe. Many credit cards -- particularly gold, platinum, and above -- do have coverage for damage to rental vehicles and that coverage generally does cover vehicles rented in most European countries. Some limit coverage in Italy, Turkey and some of the former eastern bloc nations so check with your card issuer before you leave. France and Germany generally would not be a problem. One thing to watch out for is that some limit coverage on certain luxury brands such as Mercedes and BMW.

All rental vehicles in Europe are covered by full public liability coverage that generally has no limits. Most provide NO coverage on the vehicle itself. You can buy coverage that covers most physical damage to the car although rates tend to be very high. In some countries there's a "statutory non-waiverable excess" that cannot be covered even if you take out the additional insurance but most credit cards will cover that as well.

If I get married will my parents' insurance cover me until I'm 26?

She needs to talk to her HR department and ask.

Under the new Health Reform Act, the law says she can keep you on her insurance until you turn 26 even if you get married, AS LONG AS your employer doesn't offer health insurance benefits. Not your husband, not any children, just you.

But the Obama administration has been handing out exemptions to that law, left and right, to various unions. Heck, even McDonalds got an exemption!

So, as long as her employer doesn't have an exemption, yes. If they have an exemption, no.

Will my American health insurance cover me in Canada?

Most likely it will not.
Each insurance plan has what are called provider (doctor) networks. Few if any have provider networks in other countries. I would check with your insurance and ask can you pay extra to get coverage in Canada since you're going "outside" the coverage area.

Many schools have special insurance coverage for students. You should check into that one. The problem here is that you will have coverage at school but not at home. Tricky situation, but one common for people from the US going to school in Canada. I'm sure your situation is not unique. Check with your admissions counselor for all the exact details.

Good Luck.

Will car insurance cover me if an unlicensed driver was driving?

A lot depends on the insurance regulations in your state. You will probably have a big hike in your insurance rates, and they may require a statement indicating your "friend" is never allowed to drive the vehicle again.

I think your insurance will cover you THIS time, but they will NOT be happy with you or with doing so. If you lie to your insurance, you'll hurt yourself even WORSE. Yes, lying to the insurance would be fraud! Don't claim it was stolen as they'll want you to give them a copy of the police report proving it was stolen! If you file a stolen report with the police, your "friend" goes to jail for theft.

Hopefully you know WHERE the accident was. Contact the police and give them as much information as you can: date / time / driver's name. Explain you need the report and a copy of the ticket for your insurance since your "friend" failed to notify you of s/he was driving on a suspended license.

Since the officer ticketed your "friend", he also filed a report. It takes a few days, but he absolutely WILL file a report since the driver was driving illegally on a suspended license, which is driving withOUT a license.

Since you are not the registered owner of the vehicle, you had NO RIGHT to let anyone else drive the car. I'm glad you have insurance in your own name. The owner of the car is another person you have to talk to, and if it's your parent, you're in the dog house.

Bottom line:
1) The insurance may cover you this one time unless it had a restriction against any other people driving the car ever.
2) You need to NOT let any friends drive the car... it's not yours to loan out.
3) if you believe the bull**** that the cop didn't give him a copy of the ticket, I have a bridge to sell you.

Will my health insurance cover me for future treatment after my auto accident claim for injuries is settled?

Generally speaking, an insurance company will fund all reasonable medical treatment costs, however they may send you for independent examinations from time to time. This assessment is reviewed by an independent medical specialist, and if he or she decides you do not require any further treatment, or your current treatment is no longer relevant to your condition, they could put a stop on funding your treatment. You may have some other concerns and questions surrounding your treatment and your rights in relation to the insurance companies, which was covered in this article.

Will my insurance cover my treatment if I leave against medical advice?

Truly depends on many factors. I've walked out twice, and have had mine paid. The first time was when I visited my mother in Florida while I lived in California. I wound up being admitted a could days before my flight home. I needed to return home. Dr refused to let me go, so I still left and caught my plane. Second time, I was hospitalized for five days when doctors said I could leave in two more days. The day I was supposed to be discharged, a new doctor wanted me to stay and have more tests. I refused and signed papers saying I was leaving without doctors approval, when in actuality I had the approval of the doctor who saw me the whole week, except the day I was to be discharged. Both of these stays were covered.I don't know of any medical that hasn't been paid when you leave early. Yet, I have heard of it depending on how ill you are and if leaving was only going to hurt you more. However, we have freedoms to leave when we want. The main thing “leaving without doctors approval" does is protect the doctor and hospital from lawsuits.
