Is a Medical Marijuana card possible for my condition?!?!!?

Hi,

I'm 21 and I got a rotator cuff injury to my shoulder while weight lifting when I was 20. I was doing military presses and locked my joints (stupid I know) so my left arm gave out and my shoulder took a bad tear.

I visited my doctor and he perscribed me NSAIDs, basically anti-inflammatory stuff and it helped calm the pain down after the injury but I do have chronic pain. He wants to do an MRI to check to see if it needs surgery but I can't afford that and don't feel like it's serious enough for surgery. I do have chronic pain but it's tolerable.. but it can be distracting and a bit uncomfortable at times...

Would these symptoms be enough for me to get a medical marijuana card? If yes, how do I go about getting it and bringing the subject up to my doctor w/o coming off as some kind of pothead?!

Thanks

How do you get a Medical Marijuana Card in California?

How do I turn someone in for misuse of Medical Marijuana?

Mind your own business.

There is no such thing as "overdose" when discussing medical marijuana; not one example in history of any death resulting from "overdose".

You ask how you can know "these people aren't paying the police".

Answer: you can't. Alcohol prohibition resulted in the corruption of law enforcement from the beat cops up through the judiciary. The War on Drugs does the same.

Best way to look at it is to ask yourself a simple question: Why be a snitch?

Why is it your business, right or responsibility to judge and punish the peaceful behavior of others?

Sure there is corruption in government and medical marijuana is a government heavy "solution" to a very real problem.

The problem is not "drugs" and the "solution" is not a War on Drugs and more snitches.

The issue is that some people wish to align themselves with a mob, government, and use the force of that mob to control the peaceful behavior of others.

Turning people in is not a solution, it's a continuation of the problem.

Mind your own business.

I’m trying to get a medical marijuana recommendation. When I talk to the doctor, should I say I already use weed illegally and that it helps me, or would that hurt my chances?

To get a medical marijuana recommendation card in California is about the easiest thing possible. FOR REALGo on Weedmaps: Riverbank - Marijuana Dispensaries, Deliveries and Doctors it will you info about doctor’s in your area that will recommend you cannabis. Heck you don’t even need to see a doctor in California. You can do it overr the phone and then they will email and regular mai you your recommendation. You DO NOT NEED ANY mmedical records at all. Just tell the guy or lady on tbe phone that you have anxiety, you've tried normal medications they don't work, but that you’ve tried cannabis and it really helped. Boom no questions asked you just pay the fee for the visit/recommendation and blamo you now can visit dispensaries, grow, or even get cannabis delivered.Don't ask your normal doctor, they won't give you a recommendation, ask tge doctors weed maps suggests.First time I got mine I was kinda on edge too, over thinking it, and worrying about the process. Trust me in California you ain't gotta worry about shit to gwt you mmj card except a little money.Note — prices vary based on which doctor you go to get your recommendation so shop around. And if applicable ask if they give veterans, seniors, or those on medi-cal discounts.
