Will John Cena Ever Be Wwe Champion Again

Do you think John Cena will win the WWE championship for his 17th title soon or later?

Firstly, thank you Michelle Andrade for the request. In my opinion, it really doesn’t matter if he does win the 17th title at any point. It doesn’t add value to the man, it won’t take anything away because It’s John Cena.No matter how much you love or hate him, you know him. You remember his promos, his matches… every little thing. I could give you a huge list of opponents, notable feuds and PPV matches that he’s had over the years above all else. He’s a man who had done so much that it doesn’t need to happen. And yet, I have to say, it will probably happen… and I’m fine with it.Seriously, I wouldn’t be mad at WWE for removing Ric Flair’s honor.Think about it, Ric Flair is an amazing wrestler. He is one of the most impressive workers, he’s put over 3 decades into the industry, he’s competed in Cuba, North Korea… he’s a man who had done a lot.And he will always be held highly. It’s Ric Flair and despite what he might seem, he’s not the pinnacle of the WWE Championship. He really isn’t, he was always a WCW guy, a Crockett guy. WWE may hate the WCW brand and all it stood for, it may have used it’s talent badly and it may have used the names of it’s show to brag but you know what… WCW is always gonna be history. And so will Cena.Wrestling changes a lot. MVP is the second longest reigning US Champion in WWE History… do you remember that? Do you ever reference it in passing? No… I sure don’t and I don’t know many people who reference Ric Flair’s record. Hell, when Cena matched it I didn’t really mind it.Because wrestling does that. At one point, Bruno Sammartino was the only WWE Champion. Those days don’t exist for a reason, history moves on and the business changes.Cena will probably beat the record, and I’m okay with that.Hope that helped.

Will John Cena ever be a 17-time world champion?

It is unlikely as Cena is now considered a part time worker - however this is not the only reason.Ric Flair is positioned by WWE as “The greatest of all time” and is also on 16 titles along with Cena… It is unlikely Cena would want to be seen as surpassing this during Ric’s lifetime or after it as it would upset a swathe of fans who feel he is not worth that honor compared to Ric. With Ric’s recent health issues, it is even less likely. Bear in mind that Cena’s title wins came in an era where EVERYONE wins much higher numbers of titles with several men now in double figures and Triple H and Randy Orton within touching distance of that honor…Ric’s were achieved in a different era, so to allow Cena, Trips or Orton to surpass it would diminish Ric’s achievement.Having both stick on 16 works for WWE and for Cena, it shows he is an equal or close to Ric Flair but bypasses the backlash on Cena if he beats that record. Likewise, Triple H and Orton will likely stay on the number of reigns they now have so as to preserve Cena and Ric’s legacy.

Will John cena ever win the WWE championship again?

There is a chance that this will happen. Cena is tied with Ric Flair for winning a top title 16 times. WWE will probably have it happen as a way to sell tickets to the likely pay per view where Cena will win. Perhaps it will be Wrestlemania or a lesser show. One reason Cena will probably get the record is due to only two of Flair’s recognized 16 championships coming with WWE, back when they were WWF. John Cena has wrestled exclusively with WWE in his career.

Has John Cena ever won the WWE Intercontinental Championship?

in the WWE, John Cena did not win the WWE Intercontinental Championship yet.

Do you think john cena really lost his championship?

Vince will never let ECW have the WWE Title as it is the oldest championship. The decision will be reversed tonight since Paul Heyman was not the referee. The only reason they had it appear RVD won was so that John Cena could get out of Hammerstein Ballroom alive. If he had gone over in the match the ECW fnas would have torn him apart.

Will John Cena ever win the Intercontinental Title?

If John Cena is interested in a long term program with the IC Title, then he can if he wants to, but I highly doubt he’s gonna win because he’s way past his physical and technical prime as a pro wrestler and he’s gonna be 42 post this month. He’s not young anymore, he’s somewhat of an old man by now and he’s got bigger things to do, and WWE doesn’t need him that much anymore plus he should let all of the younger talent get over by any means possible.

Is John Cena going to win his 17th championship at WrestleMania 35, or will it be sooner?

I think #17 will happen, but after Wrestlemania 35. I would not be surprised for it to be at Summerslam or even a minor pay per view like Backlash. It won’t necesarily happen in 2019.With Cena spending time in Hollywood, he has become a part timer like Brock Lesnar, and his time in wrestling will become more and more limited. He is shooting a movie in the Winter of 2019 that is scheduled to wrap days before Wrestlemania 35. Chances are John Cena will be at the event, but without a scheduled match.

Is John Cena going to leave the WWE this year?

I highly doubt Cena will ever leave the WWE for good or reduce his capacity to as few appearances as someone like The Rock. His level of involvement within WWE should directly correlate to how his Hollywood career pans out. I doubt many expect him to replicate The Rock’s success, me included. But that is a tall order. Something more along the lines of Dave Batista's success is possible, and potentially something he could eclipse. Blockers looks to be a silly comedy suited to his style, and it has great early reviews (Blockers, 90% RT as of 3/20) but it could bomb. I hope not. A well reviewed R-rated comedy is a must see for me. But there are too many variables to predict how his acting career will evolve including the roles he gets and how well the movies he stars in do. He has the tools, but luck matters. Just ask Batista about how fortunate he was to land the role of Drax.Cena will have a reduced role in 2018. Probably gone for several months at a time here and there. I can see him competing at Summerslam and maybe one or two other PPVs but I think he is going to shift his primary focus to acting for the foreseeable future. In 2–3 years he will either be a Hollywood mainstay like The Rock, to a lesser extent Batista, or he will be back in WWE full time if he hasn’t found some other project to try out.As Mukul Zahide pointed out, he is tied for the most World Championships in pro wrestling history at 16 with Ric Flair. One more solid run to create a big angle around that seems inevitable for a Wrestlemania down the road. Also, Cena is a big “company man”. He does a lot for the WWE and is thankful for what they have done for him. John disappearing to Hollywood for good will likely never happen and he’s certainly not “leaving” this year.
