Broke my Action Replay DSi?

Did you try taking it out, blowing on the metal part, then blowing in the game slot, then replacing it? that usually fixes most glitches. I think the cable for the Action replay is USB, so take pretty much any USB cable and just plug it in with that. you don't need the exact one that comes with the Action Replay. You can use the USB cables that come with PS3 controllers, for example. If you think it's really broken give it back to wherever you purchased it and see if you get a refund/exchange/in-store credit to buy a new one. If you bought it recently from a walk-in store like Gamestop you should have no problem exchanging it or returning it with the receipt.

How much can I sell my broken DSi for?

If it were me selling it, because of the type of person I am, I would get the charging port fixed FIRST. Otherwise if you are selling it, don't expect more that $15 bucks for it. You don't want to get it fixed so it's not even worth at least that to you.

I live in Seattle so a trip out to Nintendo is no big deal for me, but there are several game shops and cell phone/laptop repair shops that can also fix the DSi/DS/DS Lite systems for less than Nintendo charges, that will do the repair while you wait. So if you are NOT going to get it fixed, at the very least find out what the repair will cost before you sell it, otherwise you may as well just give it away so someone can save the money and get it for the cost of the repair, because even you won't hold it a "certain way" to fully charge it.

See, it was working fine since April last year when a got it but I was wearing these silky pants and it fell out of the pocket when I was sitting down. It fell on carpet and I didn't think any thing of it but to make sure it wasn't broken I turned it on and it was fine. But before I dropped it it was almost dead so when it I was playing it it died. But then I got in the car it fell again and the pavement. I couldn't turn it on because it was dead. When I got to my destination I pluged it in and turned it on but the top screen was all messed up. I want to go to gamestop to get it fixed but I'm not sure if Gamestop fixes DSi's. If they do then how much about? If they don't then does any other place? And how much there? Or, how much would it cost to buy a new screen and fix it myself?

Well, in my experience of Action Replays, they have a record of randomly failing, sometimes for different reasons. One reason could be that it needs to be charged, so you need to plug it into the computer and update it using the AR Code Manager. Another reason might be you need to restart it manually. Turn it on, and then press and hold Start + Select + L and R. This should perform some kind of reset. If you get no response from either of these, check codejunkies.com for more info on what's wrong, or there is one last thing you can do. Scream your heart out because AR's crash and burn waaayyyy too much. xD

My action replay dsi usb chord is broken can i use a regular usb chord that fits it?

my action replay works i just cant plug it into the computer because the chord is messed up can anyone help me. i was thinking about using a mp3 usb chord would that work if not tell me what to do.

Don't expect to get any money for it, they don't buy broken equipment. Try selling on e-bay, there are lots of people that buy stuff like that for parts or know ways to repair something like that for their own use. Though you should disclose the details of what you did. Also ask Nintendo if they have a program for recycled game consoles so they can either refurbish them or repair them. They can repair it for you but it will cost you a repair fee since you voided the warranty by opening up the device. If the damage is easy to fix then they can repair it and send back the same one you had, otherwise they send a refurbished one if it's beyond economical repair.

I seriously doubt it. If gamestop is in your area, bring it in and try, but Dsi systems are more expensive than Lite, and your lite is partially damaged. If it's not in your area, than no. I would not even bother. If it works out, let me know!
