Will My Hair Curl If I Do This

How do i get my hair curls back?

My hair is naturally curly, and i use to wear it curly all the time. Either leaving it down or having it back in a loss pony.
For the last few years i wear my hair up in a bun type style, and i had started liking the way my hair looked when i blowed dryed it straight so i have been doing that for the last few years as well using a straightner or i will blow dry, normally both. As of today my curls have gone, if i leave my hair to dry naturally it looks greasy and lifeless, almost straight. It has no volume anymore as it was the curls that gave my hair the volume. So i just look dull, and my hair looks dirty even after i have washed it.
Please help me, i am willing to buy any product just to get my hair back and to feel and be me again.
I don't know if this effects my curls but i have 2 dye my hair every 4 or so weeks as i am getting grey strands by my forehead. I am brunette so i stick to dying to my natural colour. if that is the fault what can i use that wont effect my curl. HELP!

Will S-curl texturiser mess up my hair?

What is your hair like now? Blacks usually have one of two hair types (this is the majority, but it can vary): Tightly curly or coily, or the z-pattern, which does not have a natural curl. If your hair strands form a z-pattern then you don't have a natural curl. If it's coily/curly then you can bring out those curls and coils on your own without the help of a chemical. You just need to know how to take care of it. Some people's hair will be easier to bring out the natural curls than others, but it depends on your hair's texture, too. Plus, it's easier if your hair is healthy. Blacks usually have a dry, coarse curl, not silky smooth and shiny like other hair types. Although, there are always exceptions.

A texturizer is a low-grade relaxer, which means it's permanent and if you leave it on too long then you can permanently straight your hair. By permanent, I mean the hair that has the chemical on it will never revert back, so you'll have to cut it off if you want to go natural again. Whether or not it messes up your hair depends. Yes, it completely damages your natural hair, hence, it never reverts. It can also cause breakage and extreme dryness. Others don't have a problem with it, though. You'll have to see how your own hair takes to the chemical.

My hair won't curl right!!!?

Take smaller sections, be sure your curling iron is hot, if it doesn't get hot enough look for another one. There are some that even have a dial for adjusting the heat, I like Coniseur, available at Sally's Beauty. Most mousses or gells will work, but in to large an amount the problem becomes that you have to dry the product before it will set... so that means holding the iron to your hair even longer. Be sure your hair is completely dry and clean before beginning. Best bet go to a beauty supply, there's a Sally's just about everywhere, and ask the store personel what they recommend, they ususally are failry versed in their products and what they are good for. Allow the curl to cool completely before doing anything else with it, it's the cool that sets it, the heat breaks it down so it can be formed the way you want, but the cool sets it. Good luck.

If I curl my hair before I go to sleep, will I wake up with waves?

Waking up to a wavy hair greatly depends on your natural hair type.Eg:if you have a perfect straight hair and you curl it before sleep. You may only wake to something an uneven or not a straight hair. (Considering the fact that you dint use heat methods to curl ) even if you used perming tools you will wake up to something of lesser than your made up style. You can always touch up the frizz or the unordered style you see in the morning. The reason why I say you may not end to an 100% curly/wavy hair is because even a girl with natural curls don't end up to it.Ways to protect your curls/hairstyle overnight :1.drape your hair in a cloth(cons:hair may not breath) or high bun.2. Change your pillow case from a cotton one to something like a satin or a softer fabric which doesn't frizz your hair. Cotton's tend to make your hair rough due to friction!3. I know it's not possible , do not move in your sleep. Sleep in attention pose. \U0001f60bWe can only try to maintain 100% perfection in what we do.afterall these are all man made and they don't last long. Embrace your natural style.

How can I stop my hair curling at the back?

Sweetie... You sound gay.

EDIT: LOL! Sweetie, I'm joking. ;) And yah 4 my real answer, use wat I use. Citre Shine serum (available @ walmart). THEN straighten it. It will help so much. And don't just run the straightener through it once quickly. Do it several times for the ultimate straight treatment.
I'm sorry for my rude comment, sweetie. *Muah!*
Better? :)

Why does my hair curl at the end?

Essentially, the “curling” gene appears to be how asymmetrical the cross-section is. Curly hair curls because the cross section is oval shaped. People with curls can have either tighter or looser curls, but I assume both are dependent on how asymmetrical as opposed to round their follicles are. If this is in fact the case, then having follicles with absolutely perfect cross-sectional symmetry (round) is probably quite unlikely. What is more likely is that hair exists on a continuum between symmetry and asymmetry, meaning that beyond a few very rare exceptions, it’s likely that everybody’s hair is asymmetrical to some degree, no matter how slight. So, why does it curl at the tips?I think it seems plausible that SLIGHTLY asymmetrical hair will also only curl very slight curling, If the curl becomes slight enough, the only place that it might show is over the last 2–3 inches at the tip. Why? Because everywhere else along the hair follicle (from root to mid) is pulled straight/tight by the weight of the length of hair below it.This curling at the tip might be fairly constant, but if it is slighter even still, it might take the right set of conditions in order for the curl to manifest - such as after washing (dirt and oil free / lighter) or being encouraged into shape slightly, after being slept on, curled behind the ears or against the concave neck-line due to brushing, pulling on a sweater, or wet hair that air -dries slowly (heavy, wet hair pulls down the entire length but much less so than at the tips which dry first and begin to curl disproportionately, in contrast with the rest which has been straightened with weight hanging, exaggerating any curling.etc.)This all seems plausible but whether it is correct, I don’t know.

Why does my hair curl after swimming in a pool?

Well chemicals such as chlorine, and even more so salt, tend to curl your hair. I have the same thing occuring with my hair. Its wavey but curls a lot after a salt water swim, or a swim in a pool. More so in the salt water. I thinkthat the chemicals dry out your hair ( and by drying it out its curling up. Its not severly damaging, but high amoutns of chlorine isdamaging to the hair causing split ends. If you spritz salt water into your hair after its mostly dry you can achieve the 'beach curl' that your seeing, it wont be as curly but it will be more than usual, and more even just put a cup of water a tbs of salt in water and then spray on hair evenly

I want to spike my hair but hair naturally curls? how can i keep it straight and "porcupined"?

i want to spike my hair butwhen i attempt to do it tends to curl. it gets sloppy with my fingers and the comb isnt very helpful. my hair is normally flat and i want to get it to go back or fro up instead of be flat so i can get that Spiked Porcupined look.

i heard using a Du-Cap or putting gel before sleeping with a bandana over it helps force it to come up after a week or so?

Blow dryer possibly?

Thanks in advance :)
