Will an iPhone SIM card work in an Android phone?

Absolutely. As long as its the right size. If your Android device uses nano-SIM, then the SIM cards in the iPhone 5 and later will work. If it uses micro-SIM, the SIM cards in the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s will work. If it uses the old-fashioned mini-SIM (or "full-size" SIM), the SIM cards in the iPhone 3GS and earlier will work. All the SIMs will work in any Android phone with any SIM card slot, its just a matter of cutting your SIM or enlarging it using an adapter if it is not the right size for your Android phone. For example: if your Android phone uses micro-SIM, and you have an iPhone 6s, which uses nano-SIM, you will need to get a nano-to-micro SIM adapter (very inexpensive; try Amazon if you don't have one) to pop the nano-SIM into the adapter so it will fit in the larger micro-SIM slot. Conversely, for example, if you have an Android phone that uses nano-SIM, and an iPhone 4s that uses micro-SIM, you will need to cut it from the larger size to the smaller size so it can fit in the smaller slot for SIMs. Or get another SIM. This kind of situation usually doesn't happen; iPhones tend to have smaller (and newer-type) SIM card sizes than Android phones. More than likely, it will either fit fine (from nano-SIM to nano-SIM, for example), or it will need an adapter (from nano-SIM to micro-SIM) so it can fit in the Android phone. Sorry for the longer-than-expected answer on a seemingly simple question!

What kind of phones have SIM cards?

Most, if not all. There’s a SIM card slot for every phone that was designed up to this date, I think. They just might have different types of slots, though.Standard SIM: This SIM card has been around for many years now and can be found on older smartphones or certain feature phones even today. The size of the SIM card is pretty big and phones like the iPhone 3GS and Nexus 4 are some examples of the phones that relied on the standard SIM card.Micro SIM: The micro SIM is pretty much the standard these days for the majority of smartphones. Pretty much all Android smartphones at the moment accept the micro SIM as the SIM card of choice. It is noticeably smaller than the standard-SIM and has helped to contribute to the creation of thinner smartphones. Phones such as the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, Nexus 5, and Samsung Galaxy S5 are examples of phones that use the micro-SIM.Nano SIM: The nano-SIM is currently the smallest SIM card available at the moment. At one point in time, there was a bit of contention between Apple and Nokia regarding the nano-SIM in which Apple was looking to make the nano-SIM the new standard in SIM cards. The nano-SIM is much smaller than the micro-SIM and it pretty much leaves just the chip of the SIM card exposed, where the micro and full-sized SIM cards still had a bit of plastic surrounding the edge.Virtual SIM: The weird genius cousin that no one talks about. The Virtual SIM is still kind of an obscure feature that not many people use, but it has helped me tremendously for example.

If I buy a Nexus 6P from US, unlocked version, will it work in India and will it support my Idea SIM card?

Jigar Shah's answer to Will Canadian Nexus 5X and 6P support Airtel 4G?Check out my answer on above link.Apart from that one more thing, once Vodafone will launch their 4g service in 1800(Band 3) frequency,  North America (USA and Canada) version of Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X will work for that vodofone band, but it will not support Airtel 4g band in 2300(Band 40) frequency. If you are suppose to use only 3g, than USA version will work without any problem.

Will the new "Moto G" work with metro pcs ?

MetroPCS has a BYOD device plan where they will sell you a SIM-card for phones that are compatible with T-Mobile's network... However some newer phones, like the Nexus 5, Moto X and Moto G haven't shown up on their compatible list yet...

Pure GSM phones like the iPhone 3G and 4 are supported and work fine on Metro, but you should probably wait until MetroPCS officially supports the Moto G and X before purchasing..

How does the Nexus One compare to the iPhone in data coverage and voice quality when both are used on AT&T's network?

The Nexus One has the Audience voice quality chipset that greatly improves the sound quality when you are talking in a loud or open outdoor environment. However, the Nexus One only uses the EDGE network which significantly reduces data rates and call quality. Calls made on 3G benefit from the faster network and better error handling. Some will argue that because 3G is overcrowded in San Francisco and New York that the call quality is worse on 3G. That might be true, but EDGE might be overloaded as well. Others might say that the difference between EDGE and 3G is minisule, and the individual handset's earpiece is most important to the voice quality. It's clear that the Nexus One has the best voice processor, iPhone has the 3G advantage, and I think it's safe to say the Nexus One has a newer and therefore better earpiece. 2-1 Nexus Wins.

Can I use 4g net with reliance jio sim in my Nexus 5 mobile?

It should work.Nexus 5 supports band 3 and band 5 only. It doesn't support band 40.But, in case if Jio network has not yet been deployed on band 3 and band 5 in your area yet, then you are out of luck.PS: Nexus 5 does not support VoLTE either. You will need jio4gvoice app to make and receive calls.

What is the best phone plan for military personel?

Ok here's the story, I leave in a month for Navy boot camp. My parents offered for me to stay on their plan until I get settled in after "A" school graduation but I want to be responsible and go ahead and get my own phone and go ahead and start paying bills and stuff. So what better way than to start a phone plan? I've been looking at Verizon for quite sometime because I like the Droid a lot and their coverage. I don't talk on the phone too much but I do text a lot and when I do make calls everyone I know has Verizon. I'm on Facebook a lot and I also follow my banking carefully so I need internet. One of my concerns however is that, what happens when I go over-seas? I don't even know if we are allowed to have cell phones over there but just in case. Another question I have was, is the iPhone a better deal for military? I know they have international coverage but that's about all I know. My girlfriend and I have also been dating a for quite some time now and she thought it would be neat to have our own phone plan since she also wants to get off her parents plus she wants a smartphone. If I had to choose I'd rather have the iPhone or the Droid. Please help.
