Will My Mba From India Be Beneficial To Me If I Happen To Move Abroad In Future

I have a comfortable job in India, should I move to Canada?

If you have a comfortable life in India then there is no need of migrating to CANADA.Problems you will face:7 - 8 months of winter with 3 months it is freezing and only 2 - 4 months mild summer with maximum temperature 30 degrees. Temperature varies between -40 degrees to 30 degrees. It is a cold country. People say you have to dress up in layers but I would say cold is cold, till the time you are inside you are OK but when you are outside people want to get in.You have to leave your parents and extended family members. Your parents will never be able to adjust there. You will be missing majority of family gatherings that you enjoy in India. Travelling is very costly, time consuming and leaves are also limited for working professionals.Rents are higher, most of your savings will go into your setup and incase you buy a house which everyone does after couple of years you are blocked for 20 years. This is a trap of most developed countries.Look for the job market and payment in your field because minimum wage rate in Canada is very less. I have couple of friends doing 2–3 jobs to paying for their mortgage. They are working 15–16 hours for 6 days a week just to pay the loan.Chances of Divorce are very high in Canada. As per reports 40% of immigrants get divorced in spending 10 years in CANADA. This lead to financial crash for most people. Society of most developed countries are individualistic and people bear their own expenses, in case one partner had a long term finance problem or disease they just quit the relationship. It’s not like India where even one person is earning and the whole family can enjoy on that.Due to extreme cold and lack of sunlight people start developing new diseases such as depression (SAD), deficiency of various vitamins which lead to other problems.Medical system in Canada is good till the time you have a basic problem like cold, cough, fever, basic infection which a normal MBBS can handle. However, when you need a specialist they will charge you 300 - 400$ per visit and waiting time could be 2 months to 8 months depending on doctor’s experience and demand. That’s why people go back to India for medical treatments. My friends mother developed Cancer as she was unable to adjust in the climate and then they came back for getting the treatment in INDIA.Unfortunately, life is not as flashy as it seems in pictures or university booklets. If you have a peaceful life in India do not even think of moving to CANADA.

Can I get a job abroad after an MBA in the finance or marketing field?

It possible to get jobs abroad in non-EU countries because of a willingness to sponsor foreign visas. Although the U.S. get’s criticised for it’s tight visa restrictions, the U.S. actually allows more immigrants and workers into the country than any other nation. The opposite of that is the EU, who require a “market test” to take place to prove:No one in the EU can do that job(If in the U.K.) that no one in the country can do that jobThat you possess some special background and skill that makes you a better applicant than anyone else (tough to crack with 333-million EU residence)That being said, some financial services companies do sponsor visas. In the U.K. there is a company sponsorship list: Register of licensed sponsors: workersIf you’re willing to work in the Middle East or Far East, countries with a reputation for hiring from the West are the UAE/Dubai and Singapore. Check out job boards and recruiters in those countries. Outside of the U.S., contingency recruitment firms compete to find and place top talent. Search for those firms in countries you’d like to work.Another option: sign-up for SymbaSync.com, a global job matching platform.

What is the scope of getting job in Canada after an MBA from India?

None! My friend did MBA from India but they don't consider it, and she ended up doing a PG diploma from Canada to get a work permit and PR.Although if you have good experience it should be good. But, frankly they don't take MBA from India seriously because it's pretty hard to get admission in MBA over here the excellence required is beyond imagination.

What is the best option for a Mechanical Engineer after a Bachelor’s in Engineering?

There are so many things you can do.But I will tell you first what not to do?Don’t do any higher education in India going for M.E/M.Tech or MBA, in India. If you want to take up a job in Industry your post graduation is almost useless 99%. You will regret this after 10 years of experience or more, which I am doing now. As far industry the number of years and the content of your experience and your achievements matter. 5 years down the line after you start work no recruiter will ever enter the educational area of your resume. It all matters only to entry into industry for the chance of campus interview whether you study in IIT or IIM and whether you are graduate/post-graduate. Later no one looks at it.If you are really interested interested in research then take GATE exam and get into premier institutes like IIT / NIT’s and sure pursue your PhD. Then you have to be clear that you are gonna start your career very late from rest of your friends. But MBA is a useless thing to do after engineering. It is a fashionable thing started few years back. But it is a baseless thing to do a technical under graduation and move onto a management career unless you found clearly engineering is not my thing and want to shift your career path from hardcore engineering. What to do?Instead of planning for a job plan for a career. To be very broad no matter what engineering you did two things are gonna rule the world from now.Energy - Alternative fuel sources, Electric carsWater - Water treatment, water structuresThis is gonna change the whole industrial world. Big oil companies are gonna lose their infrastructure and investments overnight which the oil barons are resisting and hiding to figure out how to save their ass.

Is Gooverseas.com a scam or a respected TEFL certification? Do I need a certificate to teach overseas?

I was thinking about going to teach English in Germany for a year and I read that I need certification. I have an associates degree in science and I am going to transfer to a university and I am willing to get a TEFL certification and I am highly conversational in German. I saw Gooverseas.com and I was curious if this was a scam. I was also wondering if I have this degree in progress as well if there is a way I can get a job teaching english overseas.
