Will My Puppy Be Ok .

My puppy pug just drank soda, will she be ok?

She'll be fine. Just keep an eye on her for any adverse reactions. But I can't imagine anything bad happening. I'm sure you will get people telling you to take her to the emergency vet right now. No point in that. Dogs drink beer and do fine not that I condone that. But if they can tolerate that, I'm sure soda poses no threat.

My puppy swallowed her tooth will she be ok?

My puppy ate a sleeve of saltines will she be ok?

yes she will be fine

Is it ok to hold my puppy like a baby??

I've never heard of that myself and I hold my dogs like that all the time plus my Lhasa Apso sleeps like that all spread eagle on his back.

There are some breeds though pug nosed ones that don't do very well on there backs because the can't breathe very well.

Will my 9 month old puppy be OK if I leave her alone all day (8 hrs) for work? I've never left her for more than 2 hrs and she freaks out when I leave. Upon return she whimpers and runs to me like she thought I abandoned her, even when gone briefly.

Dogs are not puppies by months but by maturity and different dogs mature at different rates. Would you leave a human baby for 9+ hours (you do have travel time to get to and from work) while you worked. “Never” should be your answer.Part of the responsibility of pet ownership it to think of this before you get the puppy. You do not want to crate a puppy for that amount of time either. You would most assuredly create a dog with separation anxiety problems and others. Puppies under that stress will relieve themselves in their crate as well. You might even create a dog that will shred your couch while you are gone if you leave it alone to early and they are not prepared, as your dog has already shown the signs of separation anxiety.Puppies and dogs live in the moment. Until a puppy has grown to the age where you can train it and it will understand that you will return to them, you are not being fair to the dog. The exception to this is when you leave them for a short amount of time, not a working day.As they grow and hear and understand what it means when you say, “I’ll be back.”, they are then old enough to be left alone. You might even create a dog that will shred your couch while you are gone if you leave it alone too early.Options. Find a dog sitter that will come to your house several times a day to let the puppy outside to go potty and have a bit of human time. The other option would be to put your puppy in a facility that has doggy daycare.Neither of these options are free but that is the price of dog ownership. You could also find a friend or family member with a dog that is home during the day that would be willing to let you drop off your puppy for the day. Personally I would pay them with cash or a nice 40 lb of dog food when they need it.If you can’t give your new puppy the care it needs you might consider finding it a new home. Be very careful to check out the person you turn your dog over to. People take dogs and even pay for them and your puppy finds itself in a research lab. Sad but true. You could also contact that breed’s rescue site to try and put you in touch with a foster home near you that might consider taking your baby for the day until it reaches maturity to know, you will be back.I hope this helps.

Is it OK for my puppy to sleep with a fan in her face?

Ok so I have a 15 week old Yorkie. At night I sleep with a fan on and she loves sleeping near it having the wind hit her face. When she is in the car with me she also likes to have the A/C hitting her face. Is that ok/normal? I don't want her to get sick. I also herd that if her nose gets dry then that means she is sick. Is that true also? Her nose gets dry because of the fan or A/C too. Anyone? Please help!?

Is it ok to give a puppy to lick on a lollipop?

You could give him a lick or two, but toss the rest. It is too much sugar, and dogs don't metabolize sugar the same as we do..If it is a small breed, the amount of sugar in a lollipop is enough to cause a hypoglycemic episode (fainting from imbalanced blood sugar)which can be very dangerous..

Is it ever ok to spank a puppy?

I vote no, but not because I’m against physical corrections (I’m not, when they are used properly) but because dogs don’t hit each other. Dogs communicate and correct each other All. The. Time. but they are not primates like us. They don’t have hands and arms or think about or use their limbs like we do. Their corrections are growls and body-posturing, scruff grabs or air snaps, nips or grips.Because dogs don’t hit each other, in order to have hitting your dog be an effective correction you have to make it very scary and/or painful for them to realize it is a correction at all. A correction shouldn’t have to be very scary or painful, startling maybe, unpleasant in most circumstances, but not terrifying and not actually causing any real pain. The above is ten times as true for a puppy instead of an adult dog. If the pup needs a correction, a ‘bump’ to get their attention is fine, a sudden noise usually stops the nonsense, and you can get a long way with growly voices and/or false charges. As pup gets older, depending on their temperament (and yours!) and your training goals, collar corrections can become more appropriate… but hitting or kicking a dog? Don’t do that unless your goal is to cause injury, because you’ll need to get close to that level for them to “get it.” The only time that is appropriate is to stop an attack in progress on a human or domestic animal…

My dog ate an M&M, will he be okay?

One M&M isn't going to hurt him accidents happen, but if he ate the whole bag I would call the vet.

Just watch him and see if he gets sick, but there shouldn't be a problem.

My dog ate a fly, will he be ok?

Flies can provide a nice game of catch for some dogs, and they're plenty safe to eat. Stinging insects, on the other hand, can “bite back” if bitten, causing irritation and swelling—or worse if a dog is allergic. But flies pose no threat to your pet.Dogs have no problem eating flies, earthworms, crickets, spiders, grasshoppers and other insects, and for the most part a little extra protein won't hurt them. Some bugs can be toxic or pass on parasites to your dog.So, you should be watchful of what your dog is eating. You better give your dog a portion of cooked shrimp. Can Dogs Eat Shrimp?
