Dude, just get the PS4... Yeah you could buy a PS3 and save (a little!) money, but you said so yourself that the cost isn't the issue. Honestly, even if you get a used PS4, you're MUCH better off than the PS3. Don't get me wrong, the PS3 was an excellent system, but now is not the time or place to cheap out. Consoles, along with most technology these days, progress at a tremendous rate, so you are getting a much more powerful and advanced gaming system for only a slight cost premium. It'll cost you about $100 more to get a new PS4, but considering it'll last you a year or two, you're talking cents per day.I would say if cost is a concern, you are much better off buying a used PS4 off eBay than a new PS3.PS3 (New): ~$300 PS3 new in Video Game ConsolesPS4 (Used): ~$250Used PS4 | eBay So yeah, I would have to recommend getting the PS4, even if it's used.
