Will She Go To Jail For This

Will u go to jail if you hit a parent?

You are in a very tricky spot. Most authorities are reluctant to get involved in parental discipline issues unless the corporeal punishment seems excessive to whoever responds.

Yelling you can't do anything about, but that CAN reach the level of emotional abuse. Physical things are a little more clear-cut. If she causes a cut or a bruise, take a picture with your cell phone, and either call the cops then or tell a school counselor the next day. By law, schools are required to report suspected abuse cases to the authorities.

Just be sure you are not overreacting. People at your age do not like being told what to do, even though they still need parental direction. This causes conflicts, which is normal at your age. It is the parental hitting that concerns me here. At your age? That's not normal. Not much you can do about that though unless it is documented first either via video or willing witnesses.

Don't hit back. Take care of this before you reach the explosion point. Be sure you aren't over reacting, then do what you need to do with documentation and reaching out for help. I will repeat, do NOT hit your mom, it will put you in the wrong and you could BOTH go to jail for domestic abuse instead of just her. At age 14, the law will most likely take your side of things so long as you have not provoked it, have documentation of the attack, and do not retaliate. Make very, very sure that you are all on the right side of that situation before you call for help. This is not a disagreement that you want to lose. And it sounds like it needs you to address it before it becomes worse for you.

"If Jody doesn't pay her ticket, she will go to jail." Which other statement must be true?

The answer is "If Jody doesn't go to jail, she paid her ticket", but I don't understand why that is true. Shouldn't it be "If Jody goes to jail, she didn't pay her ticket"? After all, original statement say that she will go to jail if she doesn't pay the ticket. It is only implied, but not stated, that Jody won't go to jail if she pays her ticket. It could be that Jody would go to jail whether she paid or not, but it is certain that Jody will go to jail if she doesn't pay. Can anyone explain to me why the correct answer is correct? Thanks! :)

Will we go to jail for fraud?

Basically grandparents died past year in October

In the will that we have, she left everything to me and my mother, that's the only condition of the will.

Also in the will, my mother is named as executor of the will.

Since grandmother death, my mother has drawn the money grandma had at time of the death with grandmother ATM card, which she gave us just before her death.

There was around £12,000 in.

She also left her house to us but that hasn't been touched.

No probate or anything but we have registered the death and stopped all her money that she was entitled in, so we haven't gained from people it's just bank doesn't know.

Will we go to jail for fraud?

My mum cashed a fake check, will she go to jail?

Would a person still go to jail if he or she killed someone while sleep walking?

You are RIGHT! If the person were truly sleepwalking, the person would get away with the crime because he would not have had the mens rea (specific intent) to commit murder. Under modern law, there are many different forms of murder - 1st degree murder, murder (2nd degree), involuntary manslaughter, and voluntary manslaughter. The differences between the homicides are measured by the mental state of the perpetrator. If you specifically intend to kill someone and you carefully plan the murder, you will be charged with First degree murder. However, if you involuntary kill someone or kill someone in the heat of passion without time to think about your actions, you will be charged with manslaughter.

Many think that a killing committed through sleepwalking is BS and automatically ASSUME, without conducting any research, that the courts will automatically charge the perpetrator with murder or manslaughter. That is not the case. There have been several cases where a sleepwalker killed someone and got away with it.

The most famous case is "R v. Parks." This is taught early in every Criminal Law course for law students. Google it if you're really interested ...

Can my wife go to jail for threatening to kill me?

I had a ex who struggled with addiction and she became more irrational and unpredictable overtime. I was trapped in a manipulative and abusive relationship and I didn’t even know it. She was using sex and my attraction to her to control me. I didn’t realize how bad it was getting. One night she punched me which I actually tasted blood and had a bruised eye then she threatened to kill me in her drug fueled rage. She came back the next morning before I even got out of bed she was taken a shower and she was high on drugs again. It wasn’t until after I made her leave that I found evidence of drugs for the first time. I found a tourniquet in the master bedroom, a broken piece of an orange cap that went to a needle and band aids stuffed in the bathtub drain. After everything I went through, I also had to clean up the mess that her drug addiction left behind. There was evidence everywhere and I didn’t even see it until it was too late.her suitcases were covered in this white and brown powder substance. OMG, what did I just get myself into. She was very good at using sex to get what she wanted.I didn’t even want to know what would happen if I called the police, she probably would have lied that I tried forcing her to have sex with me. I could have been the one going to jail. I’ve heard of this happening in other relationships.I was so drained emotionally and mentally, I was literally detoxing from the girl I just broken up with. She had me under her control and i didn’t even realize it til it was almost too late. This woman I was living with could have killed me. She actually threatened to kill me and when addiction gets violent you have to remove yourself from the situation. It was one of the loneliest and darkest chapters of my life. She was so good at manipulating me and came up with the best lies. I never met any woman like her before or sense. It’s not just the addiction I think she had something else going on mentally that was unmanageable. I have known other women who experimented with drugs but none of them ever did things like that with me.I never knew just how bad it could get until I met her. I actually tasted blood when she punched me. But I was so confused and drained I couldn’t even get myself to call the police. So she got away with it.

Will Donald Trump go to jail if he loses the re-election? What if he wins re-election in 2020? Will he still go to jail after the 2nd term?

If he if he is brought to trial and found guilty of a crime then he will go to jail he cannot be prosecuted while he is presidents however if he is impeached then he can be tried if he has committed a crime. The thing here to remember it is he had to have committed a crime that has not been proven that has not even been how do I put a DS not even been charged with a crime so to say that he is guilty of a crime before anything is even done to find out if he actually committed a crime is no different then the belief by a lot of people that Hillary Clinton is a criminal. I am one of those people that believe Hillary Clinton is a criminal however she has not been brought to court she has not been charged with anything she has not been found guilty of a crime therefore she is not a criminal she is a citizen in good standing and it is the same with Donald Trump.

Will Ivanka Trump go to jail if she is found guilty of state level crimes in New York?

Why wouldn’t she? These “state level crimes” are just as serious as federal crimes. In fact, some might involve the state tax returns of the same years as the Federal. But one possibility is that the Don will plead guilty to keep his kids out of jail (like Flynn did). Given his age, condition, and diet, it is unlikely that he’ll ever go in.

My dog accidentally killed another dog. Will I go to jail for this?

No, you won’t go to jail, but your dog may be put down, even for accidentally killing another dog. And, unlike many responses here, I do understand that a dog CAN accidentally kill another dog. You don’t give enough information here to know whether that happened, but I will give an example of it happening. An acquaintance owned a young labrador mix who was on a run rope in his own yard (not sure what they’re really called—basically a long clothesline with a leash for the dog to run back and forth). They had a neighbor who let her small dog (chihuahua mix-size) loose in her yard, because she believed he would never leave. The small mix came into the yard around the middle of the run, and the lab mix was off—heading straight for what might be a playmate, might be prey, would certainly be fun to chase. The small dog panicked and ran.The large dog caught up, grabbed and tossed what he now (because it was running) saw as prey. When it landed and started to wriggle, he became concerned. He nosed it, and then (fatally) pawed at it to get it to get back up.The neighbor did not see what happened. The lab mix’s owner was already out the door and partway through the yard when his dog started pawing at the small dog. He yelled for it to stop, but it seemed to think it was doing the right thing, and trotted toward him briefly, then went back and pawed at the small dog again. When the lab mix’s owner arrived, he could see that the small dog was done for. He picked it up— lab mix now bouncing by his side until it reached the end of the leash, sure that all would be well— and carried it to the neighbor. The neighbor complained to the authorities, and in spite of the fact that the larger dog was restrained and the small dog was trespassing, blame was laid on the large dog, and in the end, it was put down.I have made a point of referring to the larger dog as a lab mix through the whole story, but by now, I’m guessing most readers know what the other part of the lab mix’s heritage was, and why it was put down for this (first and only) offense.
