Will a PlayStation 4 slim bought in the USA work in India?
I guess am perfect to answer this questionAm a hardcore gamer. I play games in pc. So for this Christmas I badly wanted to get a console, Sony ps4. Besides am a Sony fan boy. So I can't Afford to buy original ps4 here in amazon or whatever as it is around 36k so I asked my brother for a ps4 slim which is sony's latest model and it's 299 usd so I thought it was a better option. So my brother bought it for 270 usd on black Friday sale and got 3 games too for free.So I was wondering, will that work in India? So I check few sites and contacted Sony and amazon for confirmation. As Sony ps4 supports 110volts to 240volts. So that won't be a problem.Well as expected I got my ps4 on the Christmas it self and guess what I completed 3 games till now on it and it works completely fine.I would highly suggest you to get from outside as its way cheaper than here.Note: you need a universal adapter or a extension box which supports US power plug.
Playstation 4 shutting off by itself?
So my PS4 keeps "shutting off" by itself after 30 minutes-2 hours of play each time. What's weird is it isn't actually turning all the way off; The screen goes black, the controller turns off, and it won't respond to anything, yet the white light stays on and the machine still makes it's usual whirring noises. This forces me to pull the plug each time. Furthermore, if I don't wait several hours to turn it back on, it gets stuck on the blue light at startup, which also forces me to pull the plug out the back. I have my suspicions that it has something to do with the internal power source being faulty, but I need opinions on what might be wrong with it and what I should do. I've already spoken with Sony and it'll cost $149 plus shipping to send it in to them, but, I've heard some very bad things about their service. There's a tech repair shop near me that also offers PS4 service; which should I pick? Or would I honestly be better off buying a new console?
Playstation 2 won't read normal ps2 game discs?
It was working perfectly fine earlier yesterday morning, I had played DDR SuperNova and Burnout Revenge on it. But then my oldest sister played her scratched up KH2 game on it, which loads slowly now because of the scratches, and she got frustrated with it. She took it out and claimed she'd accidently touched the lens (you know the laser that reads the discs) and so she took it upon herself to clean it out completely using some type of disc cleaner solution that has alcohol in it and i believe a cloth. Then when she put the disc back it , the game made a weird noise and wouldn't recognize the game disc. And she tried various other game discs with the same result. But when she put music and DVD discs in the Playstation it worked perfectly fine but it still will not recognize game discs at this point. What is wrong with the Playstation2? Can it be fixed and how?
How Long does it take sony to send me the box?
For my ps3 it took a week to get the box and 2 weeks to get it back around 3 to 4 weeks for me. You just have to tell them and they will send you a box to send it back in you will just have to wait and see to tell how long it may take 3 days who knows. Depends on how The ups people are doing and all that jazz.
Sony PS3 Repair Status?
I Sent My PS3 To Get Fixed. They Said That It Will Take 7-10 Business Day For Repair. I They Received It On The 21st Which Was Yesterday And Now Today The 22nd They Said It Was Shipped. Why So Fast?
Will Sony send back a refurbished ps3 with its default firmware?
I heard that Sony will keep your broken ps3 and send you back the same model or a slightly newer model. I was wondering if they send you back a model with a default firmware. I'm hoping this to be true so I can purposefully get the YLOD and send this 4.31 80gb bc compatible fat ps3 to them. It definitely saves the hassle of buying ProgSkeet and its components. If I could, I would use the E3 flasher but this CECHE01 is a NAND. :( and all the progskeet videos and sellers are too sketchy for me to trust.
Will Sony repair your ps3 even after you open it?
Thank you for your answers.Kind of confusing because some say yes and some say no. However, I did some research on some other forums and found some interesting answers.... The posts were on the official Playstation blogs which suggest they might be true. Looking at these posts : http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=ps3&message.id=3938233 Some dude said "Unless something it has been modded internally, sony will repair it for $150. This is why only the warranty is voided if you open it. If you have no warranty, you can open it and close it however many times you want and sony will be obligated to fix it unless it has been modded." I hope he's right but I will call Sony before I open it if my ps3 does die when its already out of warranty.
