Will Suzuki Ever Come Back To The U.s.a

Will Suzuki ever come back to the U.S.A?

Probably not, when a company exits the market the way Suzuki did it's highly unlikely they will ever return. The US auto market hit bottom in the 2008/2009, but started growing rapidly in 2011-2013, yet Suzuki wasn't able to take advantage of the upswing and decided that was it. Like Saturn and Pontiac, the last 2 years or so Suzuki had released some good modern cars that could compete and spent a lot on advertising even crossing the motorcycle brand. However, that didn't translate into improved sales despite the Suzuki motorcycle brand being well revered. There is no reason for Suzuki to re-enter the US automarket, the Asian automarket is where smart companies are focusing there resources.

Will unbiased media ever come back to America?

Thats funny. Hell no. That’s a long gone concept. There’s too much money to be made by behaving like a media arm of a political party. People love their echo chambers and they many aren’t comfortable listening to things they don’t want to hear.

Why does Ichiro Suzuki have his first name on the back of his jersey?

Probably b/c there are a million Suzukis in Japan, so they have to have their first names to tell them apart. So he took that mentality into the US.

To me, in Japan, everyone looks the same. Now add "Suzuki" to the backs of their jerseys, and you have a whole team of identical looking players with Suzuki on their backs....WTF

Where Did Suzuki Cars Come From?

I was also curious about them, I want to know if they are durable reliable cars, some facts about them, I have a 2002 suzuki aerio and I've had it for about a year but I'm still not familiar with it being good or not...

If you bring back Suzuki cars to USA, what would be your marketing strategy?

If Alfa Romeo and Fiat could come back to the US market, then it’s possible for Suzuki to return as well. I would say follow the steps of Alfa and Fiat in the US, which is to build a brand image. In Europe, Fiat is an economy brand that competes with Volkswagen and Ford. When it entered the American market, they knew that Americans tend to favor Japanese when it comes to economical cars, so they tried to be different. They advertised the brand as a stylish Italian manufacturer and I think bringing the Fiat 500 to the US is a very wise decision because the car itself is very stylish and unusual, which can be compared to the Mini Cooper, which is not exactly a competitor to the Fiat 500 (because the size is bigger), but has the same kind of appeal.Alfa Romeo entered the US market with their hatchback models, which I think was a wrong step, but the introduction of the 8C Competizione (limited production supercar), as well as the arrival of 4C sportscar and the recent Giulia (in which the QV version is the fastest sedan in the world) makes the brand more recognizable and more consistent to its sporty/passionate image.Another brands that I can take example are Jeep, Mini, and Subaru. Jeep is synonymous with off roading (thanks to its heritage), while Mini (which again, thanks to its heritage) is like a stylish brand for the youth. From these examples, I can conclude that the models have to be consistent with the brand image. This is different from Toyota/Honda/Nissan, in which these brands have enjoyed a great amount of reputation. When we talk about Suzuki (cars), we must find the models that are appealing and unique in the market. I would say off roading is synonymous with Suzuki USA, like the iconic Suzuki Jimny and the Vitara. Instead of advertising the brand as economical like Toyota or Honda, it’s better to advertise the brand in a stylish way like Jeep. That means avoid selling a sedan because that will ruin its off road image. The SX4 crossover hatchback, which was sold in the US before, can also be brought back as it has an off road pesona. When people (who don’t know much about cars) are looking for a car, they tend to see the brand first. The brand gives them an impression of the models (even though sometimes design has stronger impact). So Suzuki needs to build an impression of the brand that sets it apart from the mainstream Japanese brands.Advertisements must be associated with off road lifestyle and the presentation has to be off road oriented.

Reduced Power on 2008 Suzuki XL7?

There are a lot of things could go wrong with your vehicle when it come to the "Reduce power" or any other messages that you have mentioned. I've normally told my customers to turn the vehicle off for a couple of minutes, then drive and see if any of the message come back before bring it to us for diagnose the problem. XL7 and other GM vehicle share a lot of the same components and having the same problem.

It could be something as simple as dirty throttle body or defected TPS or the new software need to be installed (Reflashing) in the vehicle controller. It could be anything else in the ABS, Traction control systems etc. The vehicle is still under warranty so let it be recorded into the the vehicle's record.

So be patience and see what the technician will come up with then give us the new information, without checking, testing with the right equipments, there is not much anybody can tell you what goes wrong.

Mean while there is this link about the other XL& owners with the same problem:
