Will Technology Ever Stop Advancing

Will technology ever stop advancing or will new technology ever be affordable when it first comes out?

Will technology (i.e. phones, gaming consoles, laptops) ever stop advancing or be cheap when it's still new?

[For example: The PS4 will be £350 when it comes out on November 29th (Europe). For a while new games will be made for both the PS3 and the PS4, but eventually they will stop making new games for the PS3. I don't want to pay money for a new console I can't play any of my favourite games on. I could keep my old PS, but then I would only use it for old games and it would just sit and gather dust until one day it stops working.]

Should we stop advancing technology?

We'd be lost without technology, and even though it's very good at the moment, it still has a long way to go. People complain because technology often goes wrong and isn't as well made or thought out as it should be, that's why we're still not happy. I don't see how we're losing our freedom. People chose to spend their time sitting in front of their computers or playing with their I pods because they're fun. Going to school or work everyday is the losing our freedom part, as is the law.

Will our technology ever stop advancing?

Like we see apple always has To come up with something better but I mean will it ever end. Some of the stuff we see in movies are scientifically impossible. I mean if we can think of it why hasn't it been created yet. I mean we have the manpower to do it but still no one can do it. Like a flying car we can definitely make that so why haven't we. So do you think it will ever just end or settle?

Will there ever be a time when technology stops advancing?

If we find all the physically exploitable phenomena and stop discovering more there could be a time when technology stops advancing. Right now that doesn’t seem likely soon. However, an artificial intelligence that is self improving could be close. That could radically alter the curve of technology. It seems reasonable that we could hit technological limits after we develop atomically precise manufacturing, that we would at that point be chasing after better and better designs.

Should we stop advancing in technology?

If you think about it, technology is actually making us more lazy... and I'm already happy with what i have i don't need more... i don't see how people are still NOT happy with what they have, are you kidding me? if you ask me i think technology should have stopped advancing 10 years ago and should only advance in medicine and cures, NOT for people's entertainment..

Will we ever stop developing technology?

There are 2 option either eventually technology gets so advanced that it will start inventing new technology on its own or we will all die. Either way technology is the only winner.

At what point will technology ever stop evolving?

At what point will technology ever stop evolving?Several hundred years AFTER science has stopped making new discoveriesThere is going to be a limit on what science can find out and on the levers that we will have to change the physical world - we are nowhere near that limit now but there will be a limit somewhereAfter that the engineers will have to chase all of the bugs and issues out of everything! That has never happened to any existing technology because before we have reached that nirvana the technology has been overtaken by something else! But eventually we will reach the end of that

Will science ever stop being a slave of technology?

I think you have it backwards, technology is the “slave”(and product of) science. All technology, from agriculture to computers to medicine has been figured out and created by science, not the other way around. It's like asking when humans will stop being the pets of dogs, or cats will stop being the pets of humans (let's face it, we're cats pets).
